He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from opposition; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach himself. Thomas Paine
I had little doubt that Bush would win. And from what I'm hearing Republicans have won big throughout the country at all levels of office. This is my observation, by the way, not an endorsement. I never discuss my personal political views except to maybe a handful of close friends.
ya know you republicans out there who are happy......... be happy and shut up! i have been hearing this all day "HAHA BUSH WON, DEMOCRATS SUCK" well i am not a democrat in the first place but I am tired of all this "im gonna rub this election in your face shit" lets move on with our lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have held this back .... Nah nah nah nah nah! Ha ha! FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS! THAT’S WHAT YOU GET! HA HA! I only wanted him to win out of spite. AND, FUCKING CHRIST, DOES SPITE FEEL GOOD!!!!!! FOUR MORE YEARS! I felt it was the appropriate time. I’m done now.
I'm getting the same thing. Today, a kid I know came up to me and started saying "Yeah, Bush won. What now, Democrats? Huh?" I'm not even a Democrat or a Kerry supporter, but I do openly speak out against Bush. Why are people so immature? This is a presidential election, not some TV-hosted popularity contest.
lol i had to get that out! i am unaffiliated but i did vote for kerry and have heard this crap all day at work...... kerry got over it and moved on, why the hell cant the rest of us????
Good point Lucifer_Sam. This election wasn't a joke. It was serious. It's not about who won, but what happens now? Kerry, Bush, Nadar, whomever. This is serious business and the US needs to go forth now and get shit done.
I agree with you, he didn't hang on to it, he told us in his speech to keep fighting and not give up just because someone else one who we didn't support
