what a great night...junior bailed on coming to the fireworks so i was forced to sit at the bar on the waterfront of the island...i met a bunch of longtime islanders including one cool dude that i talked to all night... turned out the fucker owned the bar...so i'm in..

so i'm sitting there and this blond girl comes in and she is wearing cowboy boots with short shorts and the bleach blond hair...but young....real young...and i'm thinking..junior you fucked up...he woulda been the only other kid her age..all of a sudden she gets up and sings and blows everyone away with knockin on heavens door

then i realize that i know this girl from the island ...she's 14 and one of the horse people[ rich?].... haha....i showed junior and now he knows he shoulda come with dad lol

 

as i drove to the bar i was on the exact edge of a big storm

my parents are way to overly protective, it annoys the fuck out of me...

I was out all day with friends and my girlfriend at the fair and to watch fireworks and stuff, it being Canada day...
I left at 3pm, and got home now at 11pm, and inbetween that time my mom called me twice, and my dad called me twice... four phone calls from my parents! To ask me what i'm doing...? Like what the fuck! They know what i'm doing... I told them before i left...

None of my friends got a single call from their parents, and it's embaressing! So i have to act as if it wasn't them, i had to ignore half the calls even...

Then the second i get home my dad sits me down and talks to me, because he wanted to see if i was drunk... i don't even drink! I don't even like alcohol.... And the ironic thing is he was drunk! Like always... yet i'm not aloud to drink? Not that i'd want to anyways... but that's not the point.

 

first...you spelled ''allowed'' as ''aloud''......maybe your parents realize that poor grammar is one of the ear marks of a teen age alchoholic

serious...4 calls....i think this is your fault little brother...an open and honest dialogue may help....sit them down and squash their concerns....tell them they will be your first call if you ever get in trouble and other bullshit stories like that....

Sorry, i was a little drunk at the time... i get my alloweds and alouds mixed up when i'm wasted like that... you know me, never able to control myself around that liquor....

I'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks 4 calls is a little ridiculous, and embaressing, and they called at least 7 or 8 times... i just didn't answer them... i tried talking to them, i tell them i dont drink... but they obviously dont believe me, but i actually dont drink! i've tried beer once and it was the nastiest thing i've ever drank... and i've had hard liqour once and it just tasted like poison to me...

my parents found out i smoke weed recently so i think thats why they dont trust me going out... but they dont understand how harmless it really is... but even before they found out they were just as overly protective! and i dont do anything else that is 'wrong'! weed is all i do! well and psychedelics from time to time but they don't know that lol but i dont do anything else wrong... and my friends are the most innocent people ever! none of my friends party or drink or do any drugs.. im the only one in our group of friends that actually does do drugs lol

and that book sounds pretty interesting actually, i love true stories, i'll check it out

i cant recall my mom or my dad ever calling me at someones house ever in my life...we didnt have cell phones

 

i read both the google excerpts on those bandido books and i am going to the library tomorrow to get them...i love true crime stories and this one revolves around friends of friends of friends...legendary people i heard about growing up etc

ugh.. this heat is really getting tiring... it's been in the 90s for a good week now.. and it's not gonna let up til after Friday.. Friday I'm grilling outside for work for this Shakespeare festival that's going on in town.. maybe the weather will change before then and it'll be cooler outside

 

finally got D3 working on my shitty video card by changing a couple 0's to 1's in a .txt file and then changing the quality settings to super low. doesn't look good, but it seems to be working finally.

 

so D3 not older computer friendly? Figured it would be like WoW and you could run it off the shittiest integrated graphics card on the market

Haha, that's a good idea... I don't even remember the last time i've called them, i never have a chance.. they're always calling me!

I told my dad that i'm getting picked up at 2 because me and a bunch of friends are going to another friends house... and instantly he starts asking endless amounts of questions like "why are you going? what are you going to do? whose house is it? whose going?" and many more... And i don't even know how to answer those questions because he doesn't know any of my friends.. so me saying their names means nothing really... and how am i supposed to know what we're going to do? I don't plan this stuff... i show up and go with whatever happens...

And then he's like "are you guys having a party?!" and i'm just sitting there like "....what...? who has a party at 2pm...?!" i'm simply going to go hang out with friends, seeing as how schools done so we can't see each other there anymore...
