Call 911 and then tell us that you have in fact called them. It is cruel to lead people along this way when they are simply trying to look out for you.

 

just tell the emergency services about it... alternatively write it down and hold the note, saying you have a dog indoors, unless you can get it to a neighbours, but i hope you have dialled 911 for now?... dont respond to us, just dial 911...
