Today there is weather and in La Paz, BCS, in Mexico we have sunny skies, no wind, and smog. Unbelievable for paradise, but all those newly purchased air conditioners require vast amounts of electricity. Here in Mexico they have some of the world's dirtiest crude oil, and the power plants all burn it mercilessly with out scrubbers on their exhaust stacks... the spew of brown air stretches from Mexico City across the entire country and out to the west, and Baja Sur, then into the Pacific. Yuck.

But it is paradise, and the party never stops!

    Thank you!

What an interesting place, and once the capital of 'Nova Roma.' I had a good friend from your country - he still lives in Amsterdam. He wanted to travel there with us to do a travelogue, which we were doing through Europe at the time. Looking back, I am sorry I never got to visit your beautiful country. The people I have met from there have been wonderful.

Well in Wales Zen we do have quite a reputation for lots of rain, particularly as it is quite mountainous in parts.
Can you give me your location so I can look up your weather to compare with ours.
I see Mexico City there is thunder and lightening!

It is raining right now!! Yippee! Dance in the rain, chortle as the water flows, watch in despair as it all turns to a sea of mud!

But the temperature dropped many degrees, before the humididity rose to new levels.

    Always an adventure!

Weather, we all have it! Last night it rained on and off until 6 am today. Now everything is wet and moldy smelling outside. Ick.

The sandy street in front of the palace is a muddy bath just now...I dread having to go out and buy drinking water, but it must be done. I buy 100 liters at a time in five large bottles. There is a place nearby - it costs 14 pesos a liter for the reverse osmosis stuff with added mineral content for your health... they call it 'alkalina' instead of the 'normal' RO water.

Today's astrology For October 13, 2020 includes Mercury stationing retrograde, and the sun in Libra is opposing Mars in Aries.
The chart remain scattered, but gee do we have to go over the last three weeks of BS AGAIN as Mercury (the planet of communication) backtracks over the same territory? And then there is the fact that Mercury stations direct again on Election Day, November 3, 2020. At that time the 'shadow' period of a retrograde begins where the planet once again goes over the same territory, this times in a forward direction and not reverse.

Talk about confusion in unsettling times.

I truly see no clear result until December at the earliest and it may be an ugly truth to swallow. For either of the sides that lose this pivotal election.

    The high was 32.3°C today.

And what is interesting is that it happened with cloudy weather. After that, a storm started and then it rained.

In 1968 I was taken to see the Musical HAIR, on Broadway, by my uncle who lived on Manhattan. He did not tell my parents, nor did I. At least not until 40 years later... it was really controversial for the nudity. I loved the show and so many many songs came from that... the list of hits is endless.

Well I hope the rain was enjoyable! Nice to have a change of weather once in a while, I think.

And that happened here also!!! It was quite unusual... and now it is cooler. I am going to bake some bread, some cookies, and a pie. I haven't baked anything in three months it has been too hot.
