    3 degrees Celsius, cloudy, and it feels even colder here in the East Midlands today.

    Looks like there will be a sharp frost tonight too.

    Today in La Paz it is grey and cloudy, no sun for drying clothes, no laundry chores today, YaY!

    Yes, we don't get much tidal swing. The Sea of Cortez is long and narrow, as you get further north near the end by the dried up Colorado River, the tides get quite high like yours :)

    Is it true tides are higher the further north and south you get from the equator?

    Maybe, judging by this
    Top 5 highest tides in the world
    • Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia.
    • Ungava Bay, Quebec.
    • Bristol Channel, United Kingdom.
    • Cook Inlet, Alaska.
    • Rio Gallegos, Argentina.
    Think it's more affected by the land mass off the coast though, like having a long shadow shelf under water.

    Actually the hotel venue isn’t that little.
    For us it is just the right size for bar and entertainment stage and dance area and stuff.
    Good entertainment and nice people and nice atmosphere and nice food and BOOZE.
    What more could one want! :laughing:
