Kenny, why do you have weather over there? We don't over here, it's either moderately damp, or pissing down, last week it was pissing down with the very occasional glimpse of the sun, it's rained so much there's now a lake with wave's on it where a farmers field was. Shall I blame this situation on covid, Brexit, or Boris? lol

 

I see you live on Merseyside Phil so only around 50 miles away.
I telephone my Sister who lives on the Wirral near new Brighton nowadays, and of course as part of the conversation the weather gets discussed.
Usually the weather is different as she tells me she is in the garden sunbathing while it is possibly wet and raining here.
And vice versa.
Of course us living down by the promenade with the winds sometimes coming from the sea North East that can cool things down a bit!

If I have to choose who to blame here, I would go for Boris because lets face it.
Even though I voted Tory last time, he ain’t half making a right Covid Cock Up of making a crisis out of a drama!

The high was 29.9°C in İzmit 2 days ago but it was 31.5°C just 8 km east of İzmit.

As for yesterday, temperature dropped. Yesterday's high was 21.8°C in İzmit and it rained all day.
