I remember reading or hearing something about a sand shortage around the world. While it seems counterintuitive with thousands of miles of desert around the world, grains of sand come in many different sizes. You can't simply dump any type of sand on a particular beach.

Been enjoying a revisit of summer the past 5 days, high 70's- low 80's. Last night had a butt kicking thunder storm which dumped 1/2 inch in 20 min.
That looks like my idea of hell Gal. Al hot and squeezed in and roasting with little Spoggs running around making a noise. HELL I tell you. HELL! Our brand new beach wasn’t so bad today as that! ..

Kenny your garden is looking very lush! Must be all that rain you get Nice temps also, the envy of most of the northern hemisphere today. Thanks for posting your weather report.
Actually Zen. In the past few weeks we have had very little rain here. The trick we use is that whenever we have a shower, and we both have two showers a day. Individually at separate times, we stand in a large yellow Tub in the shower. The shower water at each shower fills that Tub. This water is then put in the other tub there to flush the toilet. If its yellow let it mellow. If its brown, flush it down! The rest is taken out into the garden and put in watering cans to water the garden. Doing both actions saves us money on our metered water as well, particularly as we NEVER need to flush the toilet. It is always my pleasure to post on your forum Zen. It is just as simple as that! Best regards Kenny
Thank you for the update Kenny! You get a gold star for clean bathroom and being a water saver! To see that one would think you are an Australian, as that is what they were doing in Brisbane a few years back, and may still be doing! I've done that in the islands growing up when the ONLY water we had was what fell from the sky. Collected on the rood, sent to a cistern under the house. Everyone had a cistern on the island... Navy showers only. Turn on the water, get wet, Turn it off, soap up, then rinse. That is all... water in the bucket was for the toilet. (I had four younger sisters). Men went out to the bush except for #2. Thankfully things are different here...
