    Good morning all.
    Do you know that between this HIP forum and another forum I provide the links for and family and friends, I get 50/60 viewing ‘hits’ a day on my LIVE CCTV cameras links below.
    Well worth doing this for me on that score.

    Another lovely day here in Colwyn Bay/Rhos On Sea, and soon we are off out for a walk of around 7 miles total walking to Llandudno along the coast.
    Then we have a packed lunch in Llandudno park up on the Great Orme.

    being here in Scotland is hard to understand how hard it must be to live in the areas where the fires are.

    It's like living in what people think of as hell.

    Smoke all around you, power goes off, no word on which direction to flee, or to shelter in place and wait for the flames to burn you up...

    Not many options for the millions and millions of people out west.

    As ex-Governor Jerry Brown said, "where are you going to go?"

    Today in Suva, Fiji there will be showers. Delightfully cool weather for the tropics. I visited Suva once, it was 'interesting.' A combination of slums and leftover colonial buildings from the British, decaying madly in the sun. The vast harbor is filled with wrecks, and abandoned ships. Some sinking, other sunk, some floating. A few upscale resorts surround the area, and on the south coast of Fiji is an ex-pat enclave called Pacific Harbor where all the rich elite live.

    Here on your excellent thread called Today's Weather Report there are You Tube songs (Peggy Sue...Wonderful record and performer) and a video about Biden for President.
    This plus news of the horrific fires out west.

    In other certain other forums I have been on Admin would usually be going after ones nuts for being 'off topic'.
    This is why I like it here.
    So much freedom within reason to express ones self far better than the narrow minded straight jacket way of other forums I could mention.
    All this plus Trolls are given short shrift here.
    Well done.

    Sounds a bit like here VFC.
    19C should be fine, but with that easterly wind, when we went out walking earlier it felt quite chilly.

    Good Morning Weather Watchers.
    Just got back from getting the morning papers, and at the moment only 13c outside so feels rather chilly around the willy!
    Better later though at 19c.

    Live CCTV all the way from good Old Colwyn Bay here in North Wales below so you can see what the weather is right now.
    I have Premier League Football to watch from 11.30AM on Sky and BT Sport, so will enjoy that.

    I did the same thing this morning with a low temperature around 41 F. '

    Just turned on the heat for a few minutes to scour out the cold air.

    Sat 19 | Night
    Low 34° F
    0%
    N 10 mph
    Clear skies. Scattered frost possible. Low 34F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph.
