    What a mess!!!! I am super sorry to hear about your house. I have never had to deal with that, but it hurts thinking about the cold.

    Reading about all this cold got me out the door today to drop a few more truck loads wood into my basement, esp since it warmed up to +8F. Snow and cold I can deal,ICE, nothing doing.
    Hope you all find a way to stay warm while being smart about it.

    Welp... I made it out the driveway for an emergency run to the store this morning.

    Then I got stuck in the driveway on the way back. Risking a heart attack I got it dug out and down to the house.

    Nobody is going nowhere until this shyt melts.... Which will be next month some time.

    That’s happened to me on numerous occasions, when I return from work or the grocery store the plow driver has made another pass down the street, essentially sealing me out of my own driveway
