Tofu.

    but yah, quinoa is good!

    I do think a lot of begginer veggies go through that phase where they eat a lot of fake meat products...

    I did, but i have let go of almost all of them, except for the occasional veggie ground.

    But, I may go back to organic meat every now and than.

    well the problem with it is that if you don't fry singe it on the outside after cutting it into the peices you want to us, it just all falls appart and turns to mush, and i really don't like and can't stand the taste or smell of grease either one.

    otherwise i wouldn't have a problem with it. i've had things with tofu in it, prepared by someone else, that were ok. bits of it raw in a salad are ok i guess, but it really isn't any kind of big deal wonderful, neither from a gormet perspective nor from a health one.

    so i probably won't retch or reject it if someone hands me something that has tofu in it, but my interest in attempting to to make anything creative with or using it is ancient history.

    I can take tofu or leave it.

    A really good snack is whole soy beans, boiled in salt water. Mmm-mmm!

    they make good fudgesicles from tofu.
