i'm expecting a maelstrom. but maybe i'm just preparing for the worst. ayahuasca has a reputation of generating far more introspection than most other psychedelics, and bringing issues to light. this is why i'm doing this instead of RCs or HBWR or something. i've been drinking steadily for the past few years. i'm not a hardcore alcoholic, but i'm getting there, and i really need to examine things and see what i'm doing to myself and why. ayahuasca has a reputation of helping with such things, but it's apparently not at all easy. i'm okay with it. i think it may be rough, but i think rough may be what i need. and if it is easy and gentle and doesnt kill me, well thats okay too. i just hope whatever happens is what i need, above what i want
damn it. i ended up having some wine today, as well as a little cheese. once again postponed i'm bad at this lol maybe i should have just tried to find some mushrooms and taken an heroic dose...
yeah but mushrooms are its own thing. you wanna try ayahuasca specifically right? or is your emphasis more on the teaching aspect. i mean why not do LSD, or LSA or . . . how should one decide which teacher to use . . . i like to peek into every classroom i can get a few times. so far i've learned a little something from every single one!
nesta if it makes you feel any easier, alchohol is not nessesarily a strict diet requirement. i dont know how long your fasting alcohol for, but you fine, iv heard of people drinking immediatly before and after drinking ayahuasca. (i wouldnt) just give yourself an afternoon if need be. you've been courting this lady for a while now, thats really as important as (its a part of) the spiritual diet, in many ways, imo. the only physical diet advice i recieved from the curandero's iv worked with was this....eat as you wish (avoiding oils, salts, and sugars does help) until noon on the day of ceremony, then no more food. juice is okay until 5. after that, just water. (ceremony was at 9) there was some emphasis placed on the day after as well though. a fast until noon, then minimal oils, salts, and sugars until 4 or 5. good luck to you. i for one am interested in your story.
i like LSA okay, but i'm not too big on LSD. not that i dislike it, but it's not my first choice when i have other options (which is pretty much always) LSA i prefer only when i have plenty of ginger and herb to accompany it. its true though, i do want to try ayahuasca specifically
it's good to hear this. i hope to make it within the next week or two. it's frustrating, but i may have to suspend having such a restrictive diet, at least the first time around.
