How much is too much?

The internet's has sort of self determined goal to be a source of all human knowledge and activity.

There is as much porn on the internet as people put up there. Which is still probably not as much as the demand for porn, which is pretty amazing when I just googled sex and it has 830 something million entries.

Which is 200 million more than 'god'.

That statistic in-itself is evidence of the atomization of western society.

God is a social distraction. Porn a private one.

If you could "google" 19th century society, the ratio might have been reversed.

Healthy minded people may not do anything.
Sick twisted individual may get fuelled up and pent up watching too much porn.
I could watch it all day and all night and not let it have any negative effect on me.
But, I can imagine some individuals making porn their only sexual outlet, then attempting to take negative thoughts that may have of women (for not having sex with them) out on a female, perhaps a younger weaker female.
It is not too much of a stretch.
I'd not take a placard demanding "no more porn" to the playboy mansion though.

I think you're missing the point, odon.

People spend more money in porn than they would having real sex (and convenient sex costs money).

So there must be a reason why people choose to fantasize about sex, rather than have sex.

For one, anything material involves responsibility --- things fantastic do not.

 

I can avoid them easily, I did say this goes on if I view it or not.
The consequences on our society occurs regardless of me viewing it or not.
