damn................thats sooooooooooo much acid wasted. its not your fault completey but, damn..............

 

Well, Im just speculating here but considering the average blotter tab has anywhere between 30 to 100 micrograms of LSD and the two hits I tried when I first bought the sheet gave me a pretty good little trip with some mild tracers but not too strong. I would say each tab had about 50 to 60 ug LSD, so multiply that by 20 and I ended up taking approximately 1000 micrograms of LSD.

 

damn man, seems you were pretty much dead ego. but damn about the acid though...what a waste...

 

it is all a matter of perspective

i have taken that much acid before and i loved it. it didnt "mess with my thoughts" like you say it "will"

all you know is your own experience. - how can you say that taking that much acid would have the same effect on everyone else.

what ever was wrong with the trip is what is wrong with you. whatever it is can be transcended.

i have had trips that messed with my head on one hit and i have had wonderful trips on five hits. i have had scary trips on four hits and wonderful trips on two hits. it was much more to do with my state of mind and what was going on around me then it was the amount of acid i was on.

Ah yes.. that day. A day I will never soon forget. It was beautiful outside, and my good friend Mushroom Dragon had picked up the sheet and a half of LSD several days after the Tool concert. When we took it, I'm guessing close to a quarter of a sheet a piece since it wasn't perforated, we wrote to each other on a piece of paper because Mushroom had read somewhere if air gets in contact with it while it's in your mouth it could ruin it's full integrity. Don't really understand how the integrity of twenty or more hits could be compromised, but anyway..
We realized we needed Vitamin C, so we took the short drive up to the store. After picking up the oj, I felt something changing. I remembered the piece of paper at the house where he had written that after taking what most would call a heroic dose of LSD that it would feel like you were waking up, or being reborn. The sky got brighter, and I remember the ride back to his parents house didn't take that long. We got back and put the juice in the fridge, then went and listened to Timothy Leary. It hit me about an hour into it, and we walked outside so he could smoke. The sky by this time had turned into a kaleidoscope of the most beautiful colors. Clouds would break the color up and reform it into another set of colors.. yeah, it was pretty awesome.
Suddenly I felt this negativity, and looking back at Mushroom he changed into a demon looking figure, kinda like Benecio Del Toro did in Fear and Loathing during the adrinochrome scene.. minus the six huge hairy tits and claws. For some reason I felt like doing a kata, even though I've never taken a lesson, and moved around quickly enjoying the feeling of energy flowing from me. My mouth was dry, and Mushroom was not having a good experience, so I went in real quick to get something to drink. Water. I grabbed a glass from the cabinet and getting the water from the sink watched the vein in my arms go up into the glass, connect with the water coming from the spout, then with the sink, and finally with the counter. I felt I needed to get back out to my friend, and really wasn't thirsty after that.
Walking outside he was crying leaning over the railing to the porch and I thought oh God no. A bad trip on a few hits I imagine would be pretty bad, but with this kind of dose my only thought was seeing my friend strapped to a table not knowing what was going on or who he was. Rubbing his back I told him he was what the old timers called a hobo voyage, and as much as I loved him and wanted to help, he was on his own. All while his was going on the blue skys had turned dark and it began to sprinkle. This is when I prayed to God. Because not only could he have gone off in the deep end, so could I. We came together and felt God.. the rain went away for a minute, but like most things it wasn't gone for long.
I'm glad for that day.. because even with all the craziness that happened I planted a seed where I knew it would grow and do the most good. I thank God for it and for my friend. A friend who went through the looking glass with me and came back to tell the story.

Yeah that's pretty much it. It's called ego death. High doses of shrooms, acid, and hallucinogens in general can cause it. I've never experienced ego death but I'd honestly like to. DMT is an excellent drug for causing ego death. Of course once the trip is over you're back to your normal self, but you may see things in a completely different way. I've heard DMT can actually change you through those means.

 

so its not like you actually die.. I thought it meant you'd sorta be brain dead after.
but its just the experience you recieve during the trip.... ok.... that might actually be interesting... I might have to get some acid here soon.

 

No, ego death is not what I'm talking about. I mean you get to experience what it's like to die without actually dying. Just read the thread. I haven't done it and can't really explain.

Ego death is something to be desired, too, though. And yes, DMT is a great drug for causing it, although it doesn't necessarily happen every time. I think the best way to guarantee ego death may be medium-dose mushrooms (7 grams or so) and 75 mg or so of DMT smoked on the peak.

and on ego death..i feel that too..to some degree, i've tripped so hard, too hard, more than once and experienced that ego loss..personally, i don't like that part..but i know once you get by that, and deal with it, and understand whatever you're trippinga bout..everything is all good...i think i'mma go get some shrooms right now! sounds like fun!

 

If only you realized how stupid that sounds.
