Most goths are too busy listening to insane clown posse and slipknot to bother with tool, which is why hippies decided to pick up the band. Hippies smoke too much herb to hear correctly and love the pseudo-intellectual pseudo-philosophic ideas that go along with tool. I like alex grey though. He has such a high spatial intelligence that it limits his auditory abilities so he can't be blamed for listening to tool.
