Tounge Peircings

I've done all my piercings myself and had no problems, but I also pierce others so I have a clue with what I'm doing. I say wait until your atleast 16 and get it done pro.

I have my tongue pierced, I know the procedure. If you're not a pussy about it, you can put a retainer in it the day you get the piercing.
I waited 2 days to change my bar.

 

i have had mine percied for 3 months and if i hadent of told my parents they wouldent no lots of people i no dont no i have it like some of my family and i didnt swell up or talk funny well i new i did a bit but no one outher than me did and i could eat everything fine i would recomend geting it done after supper and then go to bed and then when u wake up its all good

 

DONT DO IT YOURSELF. If your mom wont let you get it done and your living under her roof you should respect her wishes. I have had a few friends get it done without their parents knowing, some were caught and some never were. It really just depends on how observative your parents are and how much you talk to them. If you are unable to speak the next day your parents might know whats up. Wait till you turn 18 an move out, until then, you shouldnt get it done.

 

Yeah, i feel the need to reiterate that one - IT'S DANGEROUS TO PIERCE YOUR OWN TONGUE. DON'T GO THERE.
At your age, i'm sure i would've gone ahead and done it reagardless but there's no way your mum won't notice - particularly if you ever eat with her - you'll be dribbling for about a week (can be quite entertaining actually!) Good luck anyway x
