    Yes, I agree with you.Many of my friends wear hippy duds, but when I ask them why 'are you wear them' they say it's good fun.Man!!!It's not FUN, it's a hippy's life.They only laugh at me.But I know the truth and that's the major.

    Not at all. That's simply the placebo that squares use to try to convince others that being un-hip is really hip. It's the salve that soothes the suckers who imagine they are sore.

    I know what you mean. I try not to be too judgemental, maybe they just like the hippie frame of mind and are trying to get into it/learn more about it and they think that "dressing the part" will help. I do think that part of being a "hippie" (if we must label ourselves and others) is accepting others, including those one might consider a poseur. You never know...those people in tye-dies could become your friends.
