don't rebackcomb them! you are destroying the backcombing you've already done twice. they are going to be loose and shitty for months. just ignore you hair for 5 months.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys it makes me happy to get on here where everyone treats young locks nicely. I went to work yesterday and the pharmacist was like "did you cut your hair"? And im like 'no...does it look cut?' and shes like 'Just different. How long has it been since you washed it?' -_- I have to keep reminding everyone that i still wash my hair, people think that dreadlocks cant be clean or something. The other pharmy girl that i used to be cool with is all "you need to cut your hair off dreads obviously arent working" coming from some young girl that has never had dreadlocks and doesnt know anything about them )= Then a different pharmy told me she was gunna give me some great advice, i knew it was coming, beeswax. -_- I tried explaining that i was going wax free and she said 'good luck with that' all attitudy. It sucks i am going to start telling people that im not dreading my hair and i have no idea why it is knotting.

Anyways, onto the update. Been 4 weeks (1 month)since backcomb. It doesn't feel like too much has been happening with them, i have been washing them regularly now. I have a wool coat i lay on my pillow before i sleep but i am still waiting on a wool hat i ordered. And i only sleep for like 2 hours a night so i don't lay on that coat much. The back part of my head is tangling up good, the sections are kind of eating each other though but i think i am going to let them do it a little longer before i rip them so i can keep some of the knots(hopefully). The rest seems like it isn't locking or unlocking, just chillin. At least not noticeably so. Can you guys tell by the pics if i am progressing at a regular rate for backcombing? For instance, will i have clumps that resemble dreadlocks in another 11 months do you think? Just curious/excited.

This one is my favorite, it feels the most knotted. Sorry for crap pics though i was taking them myself.
