super lame... not a single metalhead in here. Pretty much I'll listen to a band that has twin guitar, bass, fast double pedal drums, and soaring vocals like... Iron Maiden Judas Priest Slayer Bruce Dickinson <---some trippy shit in that stuff Black Sabbath/Ozzy Ozbourne Sublime Pink Floyd (sometimes) Guns N Roses Def Leppard Alice Cooper Mezzzfits Dio Motorhead Motley Crue oh and by the way... rap and country suckin fucks!
I like some metal while high, Pantera, Down2 is good. Shadows Fall, Kittie, Black Sabbath, koRn, Slipknot, StoneSour, If you havnt heard of the band called Down u should look into it.
if im sitting at home just chillin i like SRV especially his version of little wing but if im going out....probably the same
i love metal man... usually the one thing i dont listen to when im stoned... im a huge GnR fan.... always will be.... Sepultura and Soulfly are awesome too....
I have to say that bob marley is the alltime favourite but i found this lp, it was my dads, by jo'burg hawk and its pretty nice...
hey do you people get music induced euphoria? i do and i recon its pretty awesome. the music brings a rush of adrenaline or something, and my chest tenses and my body is gripped in the music and i cant help be increidbly happy! I LOVE IT!
Yes I get that sober, depending on the song/mood and situation. Almost Every song by Snow Patrol does that, especially Run
I listen to rap music. I swear I can't understand some rappers unless I'm high... its like it slows down the beat for me. Occasionally I switch to classic rock but I gotta be in the mood, southern rock especially too. Alabama, Eagles, Allman bros. Lately I found this great reggae group called 10 ft ganja plant, they are cool. I guess I listen to a lot of different things ..but most of the time its rap.
naturefreak - i completely hear ya. Every time I hear this one song by Kevin Lyttle called "turn me on" OMG. I'm not trying to be perverted or anything but I am DIEING to have sex to that song. It just gives me these vibes and does something.. wow. Not very many songs move me the way that song does.
I've heard that song about fifty billion times thanks to all the gankstas in my area blasting crappy dancehall and reggaeton in their civic hatchbacks with irritating exhausts. After I had heard that filth countless times, boston's pop ganksta station started playing it probably about two years after it was popular with all the gangstas and hoes locally, then I hear it a million more times when all the little pop culture girlies start blasting it...
when i used to be a drunkard i would listen to metal. yeh i used to be a metal head. but im over that now, very rarely. fun to listen to every now and then for a change of course, inspires old memories but nah 95% of metal comes out of a screaming gorrilas ass anyway. my fav metal band was iron maiden, and judas priest. ok now im gonna go against my word but i do actually listen to metal. but not really. just two bands, and the latter i dont really listen to much nemore either. so just one band really. helloween manowar helloween has to be the best metal band ive got into. absolutely. fuck. such better music than other bands. but like.. not the best 'metal'. iron maiden was better 'metal' and helloween.. just better 'music'. manowar is fun caus its so intensely loud but not crowded like the rest of the shit i hear from metal heads. but i can still get into tunes here and there, no style of music has NO good songs.
When I get stoned I listen to whatever music fits my mood. Gregorian chants are amazing! I don't like real mainstream music because it sounds so disjointed and random when I really listen, and if I'm having a bad time, punk is calming because it's so straightforward and simple.
