Chick Fil A isnt all that much to write home about. I dont know what people are raving its the great .. piece of chicken on bread with lettuce and tomato. ffs..

The market district has me hooked on their grilled chicken and I always spoon out a bunch of grease .. cashier says "what is this?" and I said "Chicken grease".. They always get confused it is soup, broth what.. No just grease.

Its about a mere three cases, one transgender from a funeral home that should have been a slam dunk in the first place. The other two are about two seperate gay guys that are a little dodgy, Bostock was actually fired after an audit of how he spent county funds, and let me tell you about Zarda:

As I said, a mere three cases. Dont disagree with you on Pence being a weirdo. But I think this one is coming from Rep senators in those states that dont have legislation.

This is one I can see easily backfiring, Trump just lets the media rant for a while, judgement isnt until next year. Then all he has to do is turn around say fake news fake news, the media has been reporting it incorrectly, its just a states issue, has been for the last 45 years, which a lot of the electorate will buy, as they are used to hearing the states vs federal thing.

Which brings us to the broader question, is the fake news, fake news thing actually going to work. A month before the election next year, he turns around and says, no I never said crazy shit like nuking hurricanes. The media has no video or audio of that of course. He'd be an idiot not to play it that way

The vast majority of cases never reach the supreme court. So yeah, you'll only have a few. The problem is that it sets judicial precedent.

The justice department isn't interested in those three cases, it's int rested in the precedent. So when a case reaches the supreme court, it's ruling becomes a precedent. If the supreme court accepted that proposition, states without protections for LGBT workers still could have legal recourse for being fired for being gay, based on the previous interpretation of the Equal Rights Amendment. Once the supreme court rules on it, lower judges have no leeway.

So yes, while there should be national law protecting LGBT workers, that's often not how our system works. Gay's marriage became legal because of a 5-4 supreme court ruling. Interracial marriage became legal because of a supreme court ruling.

Gays are part of the military-industrial complex and have deliberately made themselves successful in business, knowing they face stiff opposition, simply due to their sexual orientation. Donald Duck prioritizes his targets, and putting gays low on his list of priorities makes it that much easier to divide and conquer. Never forget, this guy has no real love for even himself.

the arby's near here has their order taking box as soon as you pull into the driveway, so the drive through line is literally the car placing an order and one more car, and then anyone after that has to sit in the road and wait.

I like KFC. Their mashed potatoes aren't even that bad, and the biscuits are yummy. I wish one damn restaurant would make really good mashed potatoes, though. It's not that hard, but nobody does it. They're always just tasteless. Does anybody know what I mean?

 

Most of the victories for gay rights have been won in the courts. Trump's regressive judicial appointments should take care of those soon--even after he's left office. Saying that conservatives and Republicans aren't hostile to gay rights is simply denying reality.
