Think I heard that the senate won't make their judgement until the 25th January 2020.

Nancy Pelosi has delayed submitting the articles of impeachment to the senate until she can get some clarity as to how the impeachment hearing will be handled, McConnell seems okay with that while Trump slams her for the delay. Anyway the senate reconvenes on January 3rd, we should start to get the picture then.

Additional charges or a separate impeachment are both warranted and fall under the Constitutional Authority of The House Of Representatives. The House could easily charge Trump with leaking/releasing the Whistleblower's name. The act is clearly against the law and it establishes Trump's willingness to hurt that man, who happens to be a federal employee. Additionally, Lev Parnas has filed papers in court indicating he was working for Trump, through Giuliani. Guiliani admitted on CNN that he was working for Trump in Ukraine, and had been trying to get Yovanovitch removed from her post. Lev Parnas was caught funneling illegal money to several Republicans, who were in turn trying to get Trump to fire her. Then there is the discovery of a million dollar payment to Parnas from Russia. At first Parnas said it was for his wife or girl friend. Now the investigators know the truth. Then there are all the damning photographs which show Trump and Giuliani and Parnas … together. And Trump is already on record for saying he did not know Parnas. Trump's followers must be ready to buy all his Arizona beachfront properties, even if Congress files new charges.

 

If you get caught speeding on the Golden State Freeway, you'll get a ticket. If you speed on the Pomona Freeway during the following week, you get another.

 

Profound, yet immaterial to this. They're running the clock long to work up more of the same. So far what they have is rather thin, regardless of how much you hate Trump. And you don't have to be a Trump cheerleader to see that all of this bullshit is just pitiful vengeance for being humiliated in 2016. Which is sheer audacity when you consider what a poor showing the democrats actually had in 2016. Their own infighting cost them as much as ignoring and even lamenting flyover states.

In the mean time I'm watching democrats and leftists pat themselves on the back to the point of orgasm for sticking Trump with a faint, limp-wristed slap that doesn't add up to a Jaywalking ticket. It's SO pitiful it makes the republicans seem almost sane (but that's just because they are making too much money to say anything stupid). It won't be a slanted circus in the senate since the senators won't be saying much. It will be handled professionally because there's no choice in the matter once they get it.

 

I don't accept all of it, only some. You seem to overlook the fact that Barr has been protecting Trump with refusing to carry out referrals for investigations from Congress. Trump has refused to comply with subpoenas. That alone is grounds for impeachment. More important, now we have hard evidence that money funneled from a Russian Oligarch through Lev Parnas to some Republicans. It was a payment with the demand they help get Yovanovitch fired. Parnas also filed papers in court claiming he was working on Trump's legal team with Giuliani. That's very big. I also think we'll get a ruling on his tax and financial records. The law is very clear on that one, even if he appoints some judges who want to violate the law to shield him. Concerning Deutsche Bank, I think we'll discover that they made the loans to him after a Russian Oligarch co-signed as guarantor. Remember, no American Bank would lend him any more money at that time. Trump was just not worth it, credit wise.

 

That too is rather humorous. The democrats were way down on the list, below the Rino/never-Trumpers. This is precisely where democrats went wrong with him. Long before he was a candidate he was very popular with democrats. If they had embraced that, they might have a much better position going into 2020. Instead, they played it the hard way and put him on the defensive.

Now they're "shocked" when he acts like a cornered boar? Laughable.

 

That's more of an attitude of the driver and not the government.
Maybe you need to change your attitude and pull your head in when you drive on those freeways.

 

Don't get me wrong but I reckon Trump is a narcissist that needs to pull his own head in.
The Democrats could most likely see this in the way how he acted towards them.
