I never corrected myself. Those are two statements she made. .. all voters in both baskets were deplorables... she apologized for the first one... and even saying it the revisiting it, just offended everyone yet again Her "right" was not a question, she was trying to be coy. The right are the deplorable is what she was saying and clearly you buy into it ... you are racist in prejudging people, hating without knowing someone.. stereotyping people you never met based on a vote. *shrug* Instead of looking why they didnt vote left, and the faults with the party you support, because they did nothing wrong and you lived in their echo chamber, this is what the alt left, leftist tell you. For me it really lies somewhere in the middle. Seeing people like 6-eyed making retarded blanket statements about (apparently) all mainstream media being false and misleading is just as annoying as when people make an exact opposite statement that is just as extreme (hope you don't take that personal, Moonglow! As it is not ment like that ).
Anyone with a brain and some time to dive into it can conclude though that the New York Times (among others) contain some good journalists and did some excellent research on some of the things that leak out of the White house.
I can see certain Americans hate thise kind of news, but it is important and based on the truth nevertheless. No reason to act like such a news paper or media company is utterly false except for dubious reasons. I would say the same counts for certain right leaning media companies of course.
In general I can also say the media is my friend, not because I see the whole media as good or trustworthy (that would be just as ridicilous as doing what a person like 6-eyed does), but because I acknowledge there is still a lot of news we can all do our advantage with in regards to getting informed.
Should we take into account that a media company like a newspaper can have a bias? Of course! Same with that they can take a spin on their reporting without being really off, but enough for people with an opposite mindset to get their panties in a twist about how they do it. Does it make the news, media or reporters utterly false, fake or misleading? No. But I can see why some people like to portray it as such

That's the problem with politics. Being honest costs. We need more coal-fired power plants like we need more lung cancer, and without coal-fired plants, what are coal miners to do? Take up another line of work, like the buggy whip makers did? The government could play a positive role in providing job retraining, but that doesn't play well at political rallies. Under Trump, I don't think we're going to save more jobs for coal miners, and if we do, that would be a bad thing. But he'll never say that. They'll find out the hard way! Putting Pruitt in charge of EPA isn't going to make life better for most of us.

The moment you have a biased news source you have a dishonest source. They are misleading, they are lying. Complete refusal to acknowledge anything possibly positive about the right It is absolutely true that every major news station in the USA is liberal, with the exception of one, fox.
