I clicked on the link and if I read it right he now has a 42% rating which is two points ahead.

 

No he dropped from 42% to 39%.

 

I'm looking at the very bottom (assuming that's the approval rate) and its saying he gained by two points. This is what I'm looking at.

To give you credit his approval rate is down by one point today. Though to use this as some sort of sign that the protests are working is a leap in logic at best.

 

The protests are contributing to his approval drop, though not as much as his incompetence as a President.

 

Do you have evidence the protests are contributing?

If you say he sucks as a President then some people on the fence are going to come around to your way of thinking. It's common sense.

Granted there are those who won't change their stand. There are people who are pissed off that the courts won't let Trump ban all Muslims. Some wish he could build a huge wall across the Mexican border with armed guard towers. Some want Trump to be given free rein to arrest Hillary Clinton over her emails (but not Mike Pence), ban all forms of abortion, outlaw Black Lives Matter and declare war on _______________ (Insert name of country here). These patsies still think he's going to make America great again when it's clear by now he'll only make it great for the wealthy.

You're the one with the claim. It's up to you to substantiate it. It's not my job to validate your claims. That lies solely on you.

However it's not indicative on why he may be losing popularity. There are many variables at play. For one Gallup may not phone the exact same people every time they do a daily evaluation. They may have a block of X amount of numbers to call one day and a block of Y amount numbers to call the next day. That may be the reason why he was 42% the day I pointed it out to you and dropped to 40% today. When you brought up the poll he was at 39%

And that, thread viewers, is a textbook example of bias. To my recollection I have not called Hillary supporters patsies or any other insult. BTW Newo, starting with the first platform you mentioned, exactly what is wrong with banning people from certain countries known to house terrorism and fake refugees status papers?

 

There's a reason they're call refugees, they're seeking asylum from an oppressive government. And our vetting process is more than thorough already. If a terrorist wants to get into this country he'll have to do it illegally and no wall across Mexico with stop him.
