The problem is the bar of education is so low in the GOP an old man's rambling is par for the course. This is a party that does not like big words. Ben Carson was once mocked because his entire tax plan could not fit on one note card. So it must be big government complexity.

Trump claims to be a genius yet I have never heard him use a middle school level vocabulary. You would think his natural thought process would use complex words to describe things.

But if you follow what politicians do and say - for a number of decades the REPUBLICAN PARTY has been trying to increase the power of the Presidency. It started under Nixon, and when tricky-Dickey Cheyney got to be V.P. - and former administration insiders said HE was the real president behind the scenes, and not George W. Bush - Cheyney pushed for more presidential power and autonomy. (Cheyney was also in Nixon's administration!) Cheyney has long been a proponent of more executive branch power, as has William Barr - and what a coincidence that Barr was picked to be Attorney General !!?? Barr is nothing more than a rubber stamp for Rump, and a personal defender of the executive branch - NOT a real A.G. for the people of the U.S.A. This is CORRUPTION at the HIGHEST LEVELS of U.S. government.

But you would have to be a student of, and follower of, Federal political actions, statements, court cases, and legislative moves, to see & understand who is doing what. Most Americans today won't know the facts that I've just posted above. Many U.S. students paid very little attention in history or civics classes. Many Americans are too lazy and pre-occupied with trivial matters to pay attention to the really important things that will affect their lives and those of their children & grandchildren. Being a "gamer", keeping up with social media gossip, local gossip, watching endless hours of mindless TV drivel, drinking too much, drugs, etc. all occupy people's minds until they finally realize they've been screwed over by politicians - keeps the U.S. from making REAL progress.

Stupidity and apathy are KILLING the U.S.A. And the politicians are using those 2 "bullets" against the populace, and to the advantage of the very rich and well-connected behind the scenes.
