It's a psychopath with a gun who did this. Linking it to Trump is a foolishly desperate reach. There's no link, the guy was a homicidal maniac, I doubt he's much of a voter as well. Dude, it's not ALL about Trump. It really isn't. And he'll be gone soon, around 2024 the way things are looking. I get the feeling you'd blame Trump if you didn't get a straw in the drive-through. Maybe he controls the weather too!
I hope onceburned lives next to this guy. Alex Jones Says He's Considering Eating Neighbors If COVID-19 Lockdown Continues | HuffPost
ok, but what about the guy who pushed the park ranger into a lake because the ranger told this group they weren't social distancing?
That too is a psychotic thing to do. And of course, Trump didn't do that either, some asshole with authority issues did.
Maybe the world will get lucky and someone will EAT ALEX JONES. TURD with shoes on. Writer's Panic - Since you seem to favor Trump's views on "my freedoms count more than your safety", and rolling the dice by ignoring pandemic safety precautions, allow me to invite you to inject a good load of heroin into your veins. After all, there's only fentanyl in some of it, and not everyone will overdose and die. Some people will survive an overdose and.…………. hey - maybe you will too. Now imagine if a heroin addict shot up and not only he died, but several other people around him died as well. And when other heroin addicts shot up and thus killed other people, wouldn't the public take steps to curtail heroin addicts from getting heroin or needles??? Would we then be taking away the freedom from those poor heroin addicts??? DEAD IS DEAD. Do you see no correlation in the dangers just described???
But Trump said the armed mobs showing up to intimidate government officials in Michigan were very "nice people" and the governor should negotiate with them. He even called on Americans to "LIBERATE" Minnesota, Virginia, and Michigan--all states with Democrat majorities. He is President of the United States. but acts like a partisan rabble rouser of the Divided States. In my state, two cities shamefully bowed to threats and intimidation of store clerks and relaxed the requirements for face masks in their stores.
I don't recall such a discussion. Are you forcing an opinion onto me? Surely you have seen all the tactics used here by now. Why resurrect the classics? They just don't work here anymore.
I'll give unfocusedanakin credit for pointing something out that ought to weigh in on the current whining about safety restrictions. When 9-11 happened, did anyone bitch, whine, and complain when a series of our "freedoms" were temporarily taken away because of the terrorist threats?? NO. Everyone understood that those steps were for the common good and safety of all U.S. citizens. Those are the very same goals of the safety restrictions today with the corona virus - for the common good and safety of the citizens. But in today's political climate - created for political gain - the sinister dividers have been hard at work to make it sound like their freedoms are being stripped away permanently so as to scare and divide the nation. The restrictions & surveillance enacted after 9-11 didn't wrinkle an eyebrow - and they did NOT last for only a month. But as newer steps and precautions were put in place, the restrictions eased. These will too, if …………….. IF ………… we all do our parts now to cut off the corona virus spread until a vaccine or reliable treatment can be discovered. After 9-11, the whole country felt patriotic and did their parts to comply and tolerate any temporary restrictions and inconveniences. Have we become the picture of "wusses" as today's virus crisis makes us endure some hardships for a bit??? God help us if an all-out war broke out. Back in WW-II, people HAD to keep their windows blacked out so enemy bombers couldn't pick up any light leakage for targeting purposes. I had uncles that policed towns for light leakage - and if you leaked light, you would be warned, fined, or put in jail. Freedoms taken away??? Gasoline rationing, stamps for certain foods, cigarettes, etc. too back then. Freedoms taken away??? NO. Only temporary. NOW - people are whining they can't get a haircut from a barber or a hair "stylist." Men - run the clippers through your hair & be done with it. Ladies may have to improvise for a bit - my wife does - no big deal. People are whining about not being able to go the gym, or get manicures & pedicures - WOW. Men- push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, squats, dumb bells, or cement blocks!! Manicures & pedicures - do at home! We all like to think we're tough, but when push comes to shove ………………..lots of "wusses" out there. Workplaces need to go slowly and do their re-openings carefully, so corona doesn't get a bigger foothold and spread like crazy all over again. Obviously people need to work, but in the meantime, federal money can tide us over until …………………….. UNTIL …………………… things are safe to get back toward normal. It WILL NOT happen overnight. Most people realize this. So gear down, settle into a bit of a different mindset - for a bit - until the coast is clear. The life you save …………………..may be your own. Or a family member's.
No, I don't moderate forums, only spammers and chat abusers. I have no idea where you come by this odd notion about limits on anyone's opinions around here. We have plenty of moderators who are deeper into this than I'll ever get. You're out of line and way off the mark with this. By the way, tossing this sort of shit down on someone who actually is a power-hungry asshole, is a seriously dumb thing to do. Thankfully we don't have those sorts around here for very long. We don't usually discuss moderation in the forums, but you raised a valid point in terms of impressions that are not based on actual rules/site policy.
