Maybe Rump should have considered the effects of his dilly-dallying and denials from the get-go - then the economy may not have taken such a hard hit. Delay in this case = more sick, more deaths, more economic hardship. Why the shutdown?? Because people were dropping like flies and FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY ( because it is a BRAND NEW, UNKNOWN, LETHAL VIRUS KILLING TENS OF THOUSANDS, and has NO VACCINE OR TREATMENT …..) the hard decisions had to be made to shut things down. If nothing had been shut down, and the numbers just kept increasing, there would be bitching and whining about, "Why is nobody doing anything??? Why don't people stay home??? WHY should we be made to go to work and risk our lives??? WHY do I HAVE to let people in my store??? Why do I say what I did in the paragraph above? Because people will bitch no matter WHAT is done or not done. People love to bitch. And whine. So the question becomes - What is the correct, sensible, expert-advised course of action to take? Should we err on the side of caution, and shut down for a while to stop the spread, - or stay open like it's no big deal and hope for the best to keep people "happy"? If it were your own kids who could potentially be put at risk of dying (as some have with Covid-19, and now also it's weird side effects that seem to mimic Kawasaki syndrome) from going about life as usual, would you roll the dice on them? Or would you err on the side of caution? If you would opt for caution for your own kids ……………………. why are adults worth less caution???? Are adults disposable??? Parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, cousins, children and neighbors have died from this virus. Are their deaths not a signal to us to take this seriously??? If you don't trust HIGHLY REGARDED EXPERTS in the field of infectious diseases, …………………. don't bother ever going to a doctor again. Rump knows more than all of them ……… so go to him for your cure.
These problems existed before the corona virus showed up. They were all on an upward trend as it is. True. But why invite MORE risk - and a potentially lethal one at that, when there are ways to mitigate that risk by social distancing? If you don't mind a possible deadly risk - take a swim in remote Brazilian rivers. You may not encounter piranhas at all ………………… and have a lovely, happy swim. OR ………………………. you may be eaten clean right to your bones. How does one avoid that risk and mitigate your chances of being eaten alive? ………………… Stay out of the water. Call it "piranha distancing."
Of course they did. The point is that Hillary sold it to them and got a hefty "donation" to her foundation afterwards, and that uranium wasn't hers to sell off. I doubt you can find any legal authorization for that sale. If so, I'd like to see it, 'cuz right now all I see is aiding and abetting an old enemy, regardless of how chummy they may pretend to be.
Pretty hard to argue with that, in reality. What we have these days are 1960's democrats parading around calling themselves republicans, and 1960's nazis and communists mincing about calling themselves democrats. The leader of the Soviet Union remarked once that we would think like communists and our children would be communists. I'd say they're succeeding just as they planned, and the real problem is all those who lived in denial all those intervening decades.
How many stimulus cheques everyone get so far? How long was that going to last? What also should have happened from the start, raid boomers pension funds to pay for it, see how long support for the lockdowns lasts then Nancy Pelosi has 160 million lying around, and a whole bunch of ice cream. We are all in this together
I wonder how many today are comparing the response to covid-19 with the response to GRID/AIDS/HIV back in the 80's....
That has been your view all along... Steal from the boomers, they are gonna die in two years anyways... Right?

All those dem candidates that talked about UBI, their plan was to tax Amazon, Facebook etc more to pay for it, a fair amount of their shareholders are those managing pension funds So that's the same kind of thing And what do you think is going to happen in the years to follow? Which taxes get increased to repay the extra government debt? Superannuation is the quickest and easiest way
VP Pence and Trump are now social distancing because Pence may have been exposed to COVID-19 How cool would it be if they both caught the virus and we're seriously incapacitated to the point Nancy Pelosi was temporarily put in charge of the government
I've noticed you seem to like using these accents a lot in your posts. Underlining, bold print, italics.... Is there a reason for this? Pretended outrage or emphesis? Perhaps to lend an air of authority to your claims?
Cheering on the deaths of the older generation so you can steal their money.... Yeah.... That's not really the same thing.
Although I was only a kid at the time the governments response to HIV was just pouring more and more money into AIDS research The only panic was in the gay community, among hemophiliacs, and within the Haitians commuinty
