Now you see, I agree with most of that... But "When I was a sinner?" Do you mean before you were saved... because as Christians we still gonna sin.
No, it's different. I have been shown by God that I can only be what I am and only do the works God has set out for me (as it was for Jesus). "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I stopped doing those things in public.
This whole argument is a logical fallacy, neither side can prove that they are right. All they do is qoute whats been said billion times over. really it is a waste of time....by reading it and posting i suppose i'vejust made my self a hypocrite haha!
No, not as you are. You are more of a sinner than I am. The more you grow up (spiritually) the less you will sin (miss the mark).
You can rate me however you like... but sin is sin and it only takes one sin to be destined for hell. And guess what Spiritual growth does not get you to heaven... you can be an elder in spiritual growth but with out a personal relationship without Christ your wisdom is worth NOTHING to God.
But with the same judgement I judge you, I will be judged, so I rely upon God. God's discipline guides us out of sin. If hell is what we need, it is what we get. Spiritual growth is necessary. You are more wise than you were last year. We both have a way to go. You said "with out a personal relationship without Christ your wisdom is worth nothing to God." Why would God put these words in your "mouth"?
Over-riding facts is a fault common to christianity. The whole "sin" issue is blown way out of proportion by those who accept faslity above fact. From these definitions, one can clearly see that a "sin" is not necessarily an evil act done in conscious defiance of God's Will. Rather, a "sin" is a mistake or an offense, or the guilt of those actions. A "sin" is not a act that can never be forgotten, unless the one who committed it refuses to admit that such an act could be a mistake. http://www.drizzle.com/~slmndr/salamandir/pubs/definesin.html
Absolutely correct. Why, I ask myself, do I hang around this board and continue to read and post, read and post...
Unless you've accepted jesus christ into your heart as your lord and savior. Then you can sin and go to heaven.
