A woman of child bearing years who eats tuna a couple times a month won't have problems. Studies show that women could have problems if they eat tuna all the time. Anyways, tuna is okay. It's good enough- my cat likes it more then me. My favorite fish is salmon followed by orange roughy.
I used to be before I started having children. Then when I was pregnant with my oldest son I started craving meat like crazy. I figured my body was trying to tell me something, so I went with it. I cook vegetarian meals here 2-3 times a week. My husband wants nothing to do with becoming a vegetarian. But he will eat my vegetarian meals and says they're really good, but would be better with meat. My sons rarely ever eat any meat. My daughter on the other hand is like her father, a major carnivore.
Oh. Ooops. :& Sorry, I've got a one-track mind the past few days (ovulation time baby!) I can't help myself!
I'm a huge fan of fresh tuna. I could eat pan seared tuna medium rare everyday and never grow sick of it. Tuna out of a can or any variety of tuna salad I can barely tolerate though
I have never had fresh tuna. Although considering I really like canned tuna, Im sure I'd love it fresh.
