Yep. I was right the first time. A young and naive view of life. Kids think they're indestructable, and often find out the hard way they're not.

 

With respects, what actual experience do you have with it? It's true coke can cause some people to be more arrogant and aggressive. It's also true that the cocaine trade funds illegal gangs and paramilitaries - though that's not connected to my original point that, effects wise, coke's not a very strong drug. As for disease, I'm not really sure what you're talking about. Family destruction, perhaps where addiction is concerned, but that's to ignore the demographics of coke. Coke is a high class drug, and although somewhat morish, is not highly addictive in low quantities - certainly not in a physical sense. For someone to insufflate enough cocaine to reach addiction levels they would have to be incredibly wealthy, far beyond the means of any of the families for whom poverty is an enduring problem. As I said before, it's important to differentiate between coke and crack which, unlike coke is cheap, incredibly addictive, much stronger and far easier to overdose on. Crack is the problem for poor families and for the homeless. Lumping coke in the same category is nonsensical. The same point goes for deaths. Very, very hard to overdose on coke - unlike crack.

 

First of all, my experience with coke is, like mentioned in my first post on this thread, I have a sister who was an adict for two years, so I know what im talking about.
Summing it up, Coke IS an extremely strong (efect wise and other) drug and even worse the chain reaction it creates is unbeleivable, the crap my parent had to unfairly go through with her for two years you wont believe !! Please don´t waste any more of your time trying to convince me otherwise.

Crack/Cocaine may be the rich mans drug, but it's the poor mans destiny.

I think you can OD just as easy with the coke, it's just that when people smoke crack...they take in a lot more than people snorting coke in a shorter period of time. I've never seen someone sit in once place and snort snort snort nonstop till it's all gone.
