Er... no, but I never said they did.
That's ridiculous. Getting an engineering degree is being "force fed fluff"? I don't look down on people who don't have a college degree you shouldn't look down on those that do.

It's true, many do survive very well if not better than those that are college educated and college educated can end up being pretty dense, but it depends on the person. I mostly meant when people take their intellectualism far too seriously and use it to boast to others and think that they somehow have a better grip on reality than anyone else because of it. College can be good, but it's mostly when they learn natural things like if chemical a combines with chem b then you get chem C, and stuff like that. Anything beyond that can be a tad irritating, but only if they use this knowledge to pin you down with it and force you to submit to it. Then call you out for not.

Definitely can't eat a diploma. I tried... too many paper cuts. :)

Not looking down on them. It requires a college degree for a lot of things like doctors and lawyers and such. But far too much emphasis is placed on getting a college education, and a lot of people just go to college because they are not sure what to do with their lives. And they get so indoctrinated into that "college mindset" that they start sounding like professors themselves - but it has the same look as someone who works on a farm in the pig sty and gets up every morning and puts on a suit and tie to go to work. It just doesn't work in the real world. Those college educated "fluffies" I'm talking about are so caught up in their own intellectualism that they can't see the forest for the trees. And they'd starve if the shit hit the fan.

The human mind is so complex. But that seems to make people assume that EVERYTHING has to be complex, sorted, labeled, categorized, filed, forced, and generally F---ed up. I suppose that's why there is so much "mental illness" these days. The human mind is complex, yes, but not built to withstand all the complexity it can dream up. Like a powerful car that falls apart when you actually USE all the power it has. Such is the stuff of nervous breakdowns...

All this complexity of thought does is to cause a bunch of trouble INCLUDING arguing and disagreement and HATRED and bigotry and manipulation. And nowhere in that is any actual HONESTY. Because if we were honest we would realize that as complex as the human mind is, no amount of yelling, screaming, or force will "change" someone's mind. ALL honest and true change has to come from within. We might even realize finally that we ARE all in the same boat, and it's high time to stop tossing the other passengers overboard. High time to stop categorizing and dividing people because of it. Time to stop keeping things SO complicated and allow people to actually USE their minds to THINK FOR THEMSELVES. Time to take AWAY some of those ridiculous "protections" that we all have in the way or rules of law and allow people to start using THEIR OWN minds to figure it out. I swear, we as "civilized" humans are molly-coddled so much that our whole-brains are atrophying, and only those parts that try to make things so complex are the parts that work any more. It is a true blessing to be able to see things in a more simplistic fashion and as they really are underneath all the window dressing.

'Twas nothing but noise to begin with. At least it's back on track. After all, the OP is all about division, anger, hatred, and bigotry.

I think what we need in this world more than anything else is TRUTH. Allow high transparency in government and business. Let people see how big business makes such crazy profit, and let them see how the government uses your money.

Confront people with TRUTH and they will have to deal with it. That's the only way people can evolve, by realizing, accepting the energies of NOW, and adjusting towards the newly realized reality.

But guys, change is coming, I promise you guys. Change for the better. Mankind has eons ahead of us, we're not even out of the womb on our evolutionary journey. We haven't even truly realized the power of the internet yet (telepathy =p).

We can get info from anywhere around the globe to suit our purpose. Sure, there is corruption, runaway gvts, and the ignorant masses. But before we look at all of that we gotta dream the DREAM first. We have the tools to make it happen.

(All the negativity from this post was killing me =X)

I didn't mean internet telepathy chips. I just meant that in functionality, the internet allows instant communication just like telepathy. Society has not even grasped 10% of it's potential, although it's slowly unfolding. We haven't let this idea of "telepathy" to affect all aspects of our society.

And the truth thing... It's like when a young child openly blurts out "your'e fat". Sure, it may "rude" that a child says something like that, but it could just be the truth. And instead of having the fat person work out his insecurity and deal with his own personal grudge against himself, we blame the child. We tell him to shutup, and not speak the truth. Same goes for when people are forced to swallow an overlypowerful emotion.

Or talking about the giant pink elephant in the room. When people don't talk about the pink elephant they're just both living in a false reality, because they're not letting the TRUTH be openly realized. Their intuition knows that the other person is thinking the same thing, yet they do not look into each other's eyes and bring out the truth. So this dissonance within self, and also looking at a being reflecting the same dissonance creates a lot of tension. But when the truth comes out, you have to deal with the emotions, good, or bad, and see how the conversation goes.

Truth......if the world had truth, all corruption would end overnight. That's the nature of the mind. If we don't face truth (our past feelings, traumas, etc.) then we can't effectively recieve the energies of NOW. We have to eventually deal with every "NOW" moment within our existence, or else the prior "NOW"s will rule the "NOW" now..... if that makes sense...

You mean you have never met anyone who was all about how much they "know" but have not one lick of common sense? Nothing annoys me more than a group of people who think they have all the answers and spend a great deal of time trying to impress everyone with how smart they are, who can't even take care of themselves or simply get along in the REAL world.

I'll give you an example. Labeling as illegal "hate speech" any comments by conservatives as to why they are opposed to gay rights. I am a liberal, but I think that conservatives should have the right to state their case and explain themselves. Besides the free speech aspect of it, I love to watch them self-destruct on TV.

But a true liberal would be all about freedom of speech, no? How did "liberals" become big brother? And I thought the new "conservatives" were all about keeping government in people's lives to a minimum, so why would "conservatives" be associated with anti-gay hate crimes?

seems the title of this add should be changed.

liberals mean no harm......it is the elitists posing as liberals, bought by the powers that be for oil, resource, power and control.

Some liberals are elitists. Liberal is a broad category.
