Haha....calm yourself! We don't have uniforms, so that may change your mind! Although, in the training I had there was rather alot of pelvic thrusting!

I put King's as my other choice (although I got declined due to a late application to them), but I think I'd be suited somewhere abit more rootsy, if you know what I mean? I get the feeling that there'd be alot of middle and upper class kids in King's. A boy from the South Wales Valley's wouldn't...fit in, I don't think.

Well yeah there are a few, or quite a lot, but then I thought there was quite a good mix of people and backgrounds. Goldsmiths is also part of the university of london isn't it? They all seem good! I was looking into doing a masters at Goldsmiths.

Yeah, it's still part of the UoL. If I do a MA, it'll hopefully be in one of the better uni's, although Goldsmiths is still good.

I can't do with the uncomfy seats for the 4 1/2 hours it takes to get from Leeds to London, always gives me back ache (am old!)

Tend to book the train 12 weeks in advance if I can for £11.50 each way... bargain! Got first class last time for £15 each way... yay free food and alcohol and only a 2hr journey!

    *yikes*

just looked and Megabus doesn't even service the area I live in.

and damn any price multiplied by 2 for me and hubby if it is about £12 ... a £24 day trip (not counting any drinks or other amusements) is a HUGE deal to us financially. so well ... this isn't looking promising.

I might be able to arrange a free venue in Leytonstone in London, would have to speak to my mate first though to see if it was okay. I think it takes about 40 people.

he he ... we have a car *blush* just thought it might be cheaper going by train or bus ... but  guess not. plus i've never driven around London, and it sounds kind of daunting considering I attempt to drive to Kent and end up near to Lewisham

That sounds a good idea :)

For any northern folk it might be a good idea to do a meet up at the Northern Green Gathering as it only works out at a tenner a night for four nights from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th August.

I've already put a link up in Parties and Protests, it's at an amazing site this year called Lime Tree Gardens:
