Made a dick of myself first lap in our development series this morning lol. I actually got the jump on the leader, we qualified equal times for pole but he was faster in practice so he started first and I got the jump, I actually had my nose out front going into turn 1 and I thought shit this never happens you better go all out, and I did and I wrecked us all. luckily the dev series has a fast repair so we all repaired went back out I started last and came back to 2nd was 7 secs behind, charged it down to 2.7, just needed another 10 laps.

I'm sitting here in front of the computer reading and eating bland soup (YUK!) because you know who will NOT leave me be just to eat in peace for 15 minutes. Somehow being in front of this computer makes her leave me alone for a minute. Soon I'll have to go fix her lunch - which she is perfectly able to do herself...but what the HEY?!! lol What fun would that be...right???

Saw a concert at "The Church" in town here. An actual church built in the 19th century when it the wild west and gold mines here. They still have the stain glass with Mary and all that to go with the bar, sound system and lights. It's pretty narrow and packed when full probably because it's meant to hold two rows of benches only. I had not been in a while since they don't seem to get the good acts I like anymore.They do a Goth night too but not my thing. Kind of funny to imagine those people going there.

 

went to my storage place today and found an engine with the exact shaft size i needed...being a packrat comes in handy sometimes...saved me a few hundred today

saved a big awkward propane tank from an old motorhome years ago so i could use the propane in the bbq or for my shed furnace...and after all those years i finally hook it up yesterday and the damn thing is empty

this is the same tank i dropped on my toe that week my back went out

-3 here. Snow flurries coming. all the rain washed our snow away there was like this huge ice sheets floating down roads lol. I am kind of getting over the rain though. Everything is just wet. And if it's not wet it's froze. And if it isn't froze then it is wet. And damp. Take step outside, drag dirt inside.

I found all this blood too on my wood floors from my toe. So that's proven fact, drink alcohol and don't feel pain. and lose blood everywhere. it's a nasty slice but I'm over it. Kept it in my boot all afternoon squished together. Didn't feel much after a while. Is like when I squashed my left ring finger in a press one day and split it in half I needed 8 stitches inside and 8 stitches outside, I remember my grandpa grabbing it after the hospital and he squeezed it and said, now you know what the feels like, when you knock it against something it's not going to hurt as bad. Lol. Righto grandpa, thanks for that.

Dog is so bored now. We play a little tug on the rope I haven't heard him in pain for a day now at least. He drops his soft animal toys in with the rabbit. Then the rabbit eats it lol. I think the rabbit trusts him more than he does us because he's very timid to us but atreyú is allowed to lick him and they always in each other's noses. It's pretty cute. They've bonded. So he drops in toys then lays down and watches. Axalta rabbit just flops down a lot on his side but I read that's a good sign in rabbits. Means they're comfortable, secure and content.

so now that weed is going to be legal i wonder how much they will pay all the people who were prosecuted under those laws

 

I doubt they will do anything with weed related crimes. You don't choose to be gay or native but you did choose to break the law and smoke. Even if it's legal now it was not then. That's how it's treated down here at least. LOTS of people were disappointed to find they still have criminal records. A personal pardon from the governor is needed and that's like 20 people a year who did time for serious crimes and have really been good after release.
