Truly I hope you are right and there isn't a worse reason - like colon problems as in fissures, polyps or etc, colorectal cancer ...there are actually quite a few things that can't be addressed just by changing one's diet.

I'm 61 and have never experienced a problem of this sort...my diet is varied and I do eat my veggies and all that good stuff. However, I also like (to love) diary (which was never a problem previously). However, I HAVE changed my eating habits and I hope from the bottom of my heart you are right.

I like sweets but not so much that I'm having a problem not eating what we have...the mother LOVES her sweets and oh - that's right at almost 98 she eats well but she also eats dairy and sweets and hell anything she wants to. smh

 

I didn't know those lyrics but I figured something like that...obviously I don't know your gf either but I know of her..and she sounds like a total sweetheart and would never give you reason to shoot her. Plus I know she is a great lady because she likes .

 

Do some serious research on the dark web to find your answers Lynn. Dig deep, get 10 tabs open and find it.

Come up with a list of serious well thought out questions and write them down. Then go to a doctor that knows what your dealing with. A general practitioner wont do a damn thing. When the doctor asks you a question have an answer on paper you wrote down.

Other than surgeons, doctors are generalists. They don't know shit about you. You just another in line for silly questions.

You are exactly right...and I actually do have an appointment with a specialist next Monday morning. I'm more nervous than I can describe and its tempting to call at the last moment and cancel but I'm not...I want some answers and it would be totally irresponsible for me not to at least try to find out.

From this point I'm going to seriously TRY and say nothing else about my butt problems. lol ... and if there is something bad wrong I won't have a desire to come here and talk about it. However, I'm glad you said that because that is precisely what people should do if and/or when they know they have something out of wack going on.
