Unusual Photos.

I spotted Tupac, Sting and then I read your comment before I spotted Madonna. I doubt this image was posted before. It really looks like Tupac was photoshopped in to the image though.

You got me to do some looking. The photo was taken in 1994. Tupac was definitely not shopped in. It seems that he and Madonna had a thing for a while. Here's another photo from the same gathering, this one minus Sting, but there were lots of photos taken at that table with different combinations of people. Some have the same Madonna-Sting-Tupac trio plus others seated at the table. The handwritten note included with this image is a breakup note, I think.

As to extremely famous musical stars often or usually referred to with a single name, Elvis was dead and unavailable to join them, and Prince and Cher were otherwise unavailable. Britney was only 13, had not yet joined the one-name-fame club, and it was past her bedtime.

I wish these celeb camera inspection shots came with what it was they where seeing. It would feel interesting to match it to the film and say "He helped with that."
