Not really, the UN does not really force peace upon people or countries. They are supposed to maintain peace when there's a conflict causing massive human rights violations. When 2 parties (or more) are causing a bloody massacre some kind of military intervention can seem the only solution. Not that they often resort to just talking instead. So, yes there sometimes seem to be some kind of valid point in STP's posts but no, actually his explaining often lacks rationality.
