Libya is a mixture of brown rather than black peoples. They are a mix of black African, Arabic (Semitic) and Berber ancestry along with a few genes from various invaders over the millenia. The biggest division has been between eastern and western tribes.

Most of the "black" people in Libya were foreign workers on their oil fields, innocent bystanders in the civil war. I hope they largely escaped unharmed.
