Suppresing masterbation for extra energy only works to a point. If you exercise constantly to the point your run down it takes a toll on your body. But if you exercise barely at all it decreases your vibrancy.
Generally speaking, typing "your" instead of you're isn't really a typo, more of a reflection of the intellect of the person typing it.
Ya, sure, and your response was the epitome of intellectual supremacy Still waiting for the supporting research. If you can't provide it then You're full of crap.
You'll be waiting a long time, I have got better things to do. I just wanted to impart my thoughts on the matter in hand(pun intended) through creating this thread, not give a fucking seminar.
No need to provide research, just your own personal expeirence with the matter, were all different and expeirence things in different ways.
I absolutely love people like you. You lay out a bunch of garbage ideas as if they are fact, then when challenged you resort to ad hominem attacks, when that doesn't work you run away with the excuse, "I have better things to do". Such a classic response from a person with absolutely no idea what they are talking about and just expect others to believe them "because". You imparted your thoughts, they have no foundation whatsoever in any scientific, medical, or any other research and as has been pointed out, the opposite is more the truth and HAS been shown to be the truth supported by medical research. http://www.scarleteen.com/article/advice/is_masturbation_healthy • Sexualarousal and orgasm triggers the release of numerous hormones. A rise in oxytocin levels via sex, for instance, has been shown in studies to be a profound pain reliever, for headaches, menstrual cramps and muscle aches, and promotes feelings of affection and nurturing which help to reduce stress levels. Sex encourages the flow of testosterone, which strengthens bones and muscles and helps transport DHEA, a hormone that is important in the function of the body’s immune system, as well as for tissue repair and neurological balance. Keeping testosterone flowing freely also helps to reduce the risk of prostate problems and cancer in men. In women, estrogen levels increase during arousal, providing benefits to the reproductive organs as well as to skin and hair. Endorphins -- releases in the same way they are after other exercise -- reduce depression, and can improve cholesterol levels and help increase circulation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masturbation (health and psychological effects section) A study published in 1997 found an inverse association between death from coronary heart disease and frequency of orgasm even given the risk that myocardial ischaemia and myocardial infarction can be triggered by sexual activity. The association between frequency of orgasm and all cause mortality was also examined using the midpoint of each response category recorded as number of orgasms per year. The age adjusted odds ratio for an increase of 100 orgasms per year was 0.64 (0.44 to 0.95). That is, a difference in mortality appeared between any two subjects when one subject ejaculated at around two times per week more than the other. Assuming a broad range average of between 3 to 5 ejaculations per week for healthy males, this would mean 5 to 7 ejaculations per week. This is consistent with a 2003 Australia article on the benefits against prostate cancer. The strength of these correlations increased with increasing frequency of ejaculation. http://www.menshealth.com/men/healt.../article/ebbfa18f0e4a9110VgnVCM20000012281eac "It relieves stress and keeps everything about your body—your heart rate, blood pressure, reproductive system, brain chemistry—in very good shape," Brame says. A 2003 Australian study found that men who ejaculated more than five times a week were a third less likely to develop prostate cancer. Regularly flushing your system, so to speak, keeps your semen healthy and prevents the build up of cancer-causing chemicals. for the ladies; http://www.womentowomen.com/sexualityandfertility/healthbenefitsofmasturbation.aspx Masturbation helps prevent cervical infections and helps relieve urinary tract infections. While it’s general knowledge that regular masturbation can reduce the risk of prostate cancer in men, studies are showing that female masturbation can also provide protection against cervical infections because when women masturbate, the orgasm “tents” or opens the cervix. Is that enough or should I post more references? (those only took a few minutes to find and read)
Sorry, but your wrong. Everyones body does respond pretty much the same and certain things are not open to "personal interpretation".
Again with the juvenile ad hominem attacks. Tell you what, why don't you provide some research supporting your views or at the very least refute the research I have provided like the intellectual adult you portray yourself as.
What has that got to do with masturbation for a healthy life or the supposed physical ailments the OP claims are the result of self-stimulation? Seriously, trying to put the focus on spelling and grammar errors rather than the topic at hand is just the pathetic.
I really totally misunderstood and had the argument backwards...sorry about that. (I kind of remember you (PB) saying the your/you're thing was a pet peeve of yours in the past...and then noticed you do it a lot...so in my quick reading of this thread I thought you were pointing out someone doing it again...I'm sorry....nothing personal.)
I don't recall saying that was a pet peeve of mine, but I very well may have. I was kind of wondering about you searching out my posts to look for grammatical error's. I'll be more vigilant in the future One of my biggest pet peeves is typified by this very thread, people making ludicrous claims as if they were fact, then resorting to childish crap when they are shown to be mistaken.
Like I said before weed makes your focus and space out on things. Just make an effort to space out and focus on something you want to accomplish.
Juvenile? Par example:.......? PB you are missing the point of what I am trying to say here. I am not suggesting that people should completely stop masturbating altogether, or that it is morally wrong. I am just saying that I heard in this documentary that doctor used to prescribe to it stop guys from masturbating. Now this is not to stop them from wanking of altogether, just to stop them from doing it TOO MUCH! Unlike all you lucky people who are priveleged enough to live in temperate climates where the people aren't all miserable cunts, we live on an cold, dark, wet island ( for most of the year) and owing to that and a number of other contributory factors we get a bit frustrated from time to time. People use all kinds of short term fixes to alleviate the boredom, cigarettes, heroin, football, and sex/masturbation are some of the many forms of escapism we use, all of which can to the detriment of our health if we indulge in them too much. I'm not one to take much notice of scientific research of the likes that purport to draw conclusions such as if we X% of this then we are N% percent more likely to get cancer, etc... This kind of flawed research is nothing more than media sensationalism. However, so far as the one that said if you wank 3 times a week you are less likely to get prostate cancer, well that may be the case IF you happen to live in a cold climate and sit around on your ass all day playing X-box, smoking roll-ups and eating cheesy wotsits. A lifestyle of purity and celibacy coupled with a wholesome diet and exercise is not going to lead to cancer. If you can manage to save yourself for 6 weeks, or even better 3 months and then have sex, or just a wank if you got no bird, the intensity of the orgasm and the build up is far greater so it is really worth it if you can do it. I have striven to achieve this ever since I returned from India 10 years ago, and have had success a few times, but sadly never had a girl with which to practise tantric sex with on such occasions and always ended up letting my libido get the better of me in the end. Practically all of the times I have been laid in my life it's just been the usual spunkathon that most women only seem interested in, having it off, or shagging as it's otherwise known. I'm quite bitter about this. I'm now nearly 40 and my sexual energies are slowly but surely becoming less and less, the best years of my life have passed me by without experiencing the full intensity of tantric love. In short, modern society sucks balls. Fuck materialism and competition, it's time for a spiritual revolution! Legalise it now bitchez :afro: p.s. Death to these guys-------> :bobby:
As I thought, you are one of the type of people who will hold on to your personal beliefs regardless of any evidence or proof that contradicts it. I'll bet you also hate fundamental Christians for the very same reasons. If that is how you view the world and your personal life, then I feel bad for you.
Oh okay, so you debate with me one time, in one thread, yet you can deduce all that from me. I guess you must be psychic, either that or a judgmental, narrow minded fool who would rather base his opinion on what a bunch of scientists say than to actually think about it himself.
