We survived We found a Sbarro, and Burger King on the way out, and a Subway & a (heehee) Sonic on the way home. DD and I split an order of onion rings & had cherry limeades at Sonic, and polished off a pint of blueberries from a roadside stand next to it, to try and pretend it was a healthy meal My daughter is not-quite-vegetarian. She did ask to have a piece of ham Easter morning, but only ate 2 tiny bites of it before feeding the rest to the dog. I think that by the end of the year, she'll probably be a full-fledged veggie. She tried a bite of her brother's bacon cheeseburger, and was disgusted & actually rinsed her mouth out. She is learning quickly what is & is not a protein substitute, and her appetite is finally picking up to something more than what a starving baby bird should eat. Wish I'd have known she just didn't want meat, we could have done this long ago! love, mom
