And cavemen where at the zenith of prime of the human beeing span? Humans are fully capable of living of only fruits, and thriving on it. And i belive at some time in out history, that was just what we did. http://www.fruitarianfitness.com/ Good old Richard seems to do well on fruits.
eggs when used for omlettes are still embryos.. you know how many baby embryos it would take to make an omlette?
If this is the case then you wouldn't be a RAW vegan. While the human digestive track really isn't designed to break down large amounts of meat, it also is not designed to assimilate nutrients from most raw vegetables. Through the process of evolution humans have developed a unique digestive system that requires a majority of vegetables and grains to be cooked (often times only slightly cooked) in order to fully assimilate nutrients and digest our food properly. You can get essential vitamins from raw fruits but your body necessitates trace minerals (which can be found in raw green superfoods), fats and proteins (which often come from grains/seeds like amorynth, quinoa, flax, hemp etc. that need to cooked or heated in order for your body to get the most out of them)... I'm vegan also.. for a variety of reasons and was really into the raw thing for awhile but I ended up finding out that it was not beneficial for my health physically and intellectually. to answer your question about vegan ganja food... there is no way to get around cooking it but raw coconut oil is the best vegan thing to cook the cannabis in and probably the best thing period to cook cannabis in because it retains the most delicious flavor! I love making vegan cannabis chocolate... and it usually tastes so good that people (both vegans and omnivores) end up getting too stoned because they eat so much of it.
And to answer your question again, organic mixes have blood meal and bone meal in them, which is scraped off of slaughter house floors. And I somehow doubt that you are in favor of chemical nutes...
haha so cheese is addicting because it has heroin based products in it? I hope I dont get cancer from drinking some milk too, I heard its really bad for your bones. I'll make sure though to go on a vegan diet and make sure I dont get proper nutrition and it'll be so much fun.
Right on man, I'm with you 100%.. - Milk is not bad for you, why would someone even say that? Sure, if you drink the hole bottle everyday you might get a nice plump belly. But dairy products are important for bone growth, and teeth among other things. We need Vitamin D to live, I'm sure you have some pretty brittle bones if you are just a raw vegan. Hell, I don't care if you eat meat or not, I only eat chicken and seafood. But common, think about your body's health, it's not good for you to just cut out every thing animals produce, trust me a peice of cheese or yogart every once in awhile isn't gonna kill you.
Yeah.. and the dairy industries tell us that. There is a big myth about how good milk is for you, and good for bones and kalcium and yada yada... kalcium can be recieved from many other sources. http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...380&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0
Sorry man but I don't see your point. Anyway, to the thread starter, the reason vegans alwasy catch to much slack is because every vegan I've ever met always does the same thing that you're doing right now: turn any attention they get into a vegan is for all fun facts infomercial. How about this, you stay a vegan, and we stay eating whatever we want, and you stop posting random facts that no one cares about, and we all live and let live, KAY? All I was trying to say was that there is an almost nonexistant chance that the herb your smoking on was grown in a vegan way.
I didn't want it to turn in to a "bash a vegan" contest. But it is always inevitble. And for not spelling calcium right, im truelly deeply sorry about that. I've been living in Sweden for 12 years now, that might have had some affect on my english i guess. Still, good argument *tumbs up*
people in this forum are very closed minded / ignorant. its happens all the time. not just with vegans, but in just about any thread someone will be bashed. but this is a free speech forum. and its the best forum ever.
yea.. for people being "hip" it is pretty close minded.. like i said originally.. i wasn't intending on bashing anyone... i just wanted reason.. im not saying what you do is unhealthy.. just i personally cant see why someone would deprive themselves of a wonderful variety of foods.. such as breads and pastas... but to each their own... and no.. you did not create this thread preaching about how great veganism is.. or tell people to be vegan.. like others are saying.. ya just wanted to know how to cook with cannabis in a raw vegan manner.. which is litterally impossible.. i guess my next question would be do vegans drink any alcohol? because that would be your only other method of a non-smoking high and Wonka is right.. this forum kicks some serious ass
Oh really? The "hippie" bit of this forum sure fooled me. What happened to understanding and tolerance?
there is a hippie forum, yes. but threre are 400+ forums on the hipforums. and more than half of the posters here are not hippies. understanding and tollerance of veganism can be found in the vegetarian forum. the mod will make sure of that. over all the most up-beat, understanding and tollerant forum is the knotty-know-how forum. but that is for dreadlocks. still a great forum though.
