Iron from animals has higher absorption by humans rather than iron from plants is what I was saying. Thank you for clarifying And yeah about the industry, luckily all my meat comes fresh from butchers. I don't get factory farm meat
In regards to feeling healthier... I did not eat red meat for 7 years. I eliminated chicken for the last three years and rarely ate eggs or fish.. but I did a couple times a week. I never supplemented any food nor did I read labels to insist something did not contain meat or meat by products. I never felt any different. I now eat meat. What you consume is a very personal choice for personal reasons, just do what you gotta do!
