probably not. not even vegetarian let alone vegan. some(or alot of) people just don't care about the world, not enough to do anything about it. everyone is different.

haha, so you think people eat meat because ti makes them "happy" (?...) Really? i dont think so. people eat meat because:
-they are addicted to it. their system/body is so used to it, that is just a bad habit passed over by society and parents
-their friends are doing it . Imagine a footballplayer havin to explain to the team that he wont eat meat again. Not easy. He will have a hard time. Less friends. people will laugh at him (because of their ignorance).

Actually i dont care anymore if people eat meat or not. BUt one thing is for sure. I will never have a close friend or a boyfriend that eats meat. NO fucking chance.
For me, it just shows the immatureness of the person. I mean, if you want to know, there all the chances in the world to get the info about the concentration camps for animals. Either you feel for them, or your greed is just to big. Its all about greed.

as long as human population levels continue to increase there will continue to be less and less land available on which to raise meat animals. it is for this reason, rather then anyone's preferences in the matter, that meat will constitute a lower percentage over all in the human diet. simply the effect of environmental, and yes, even economic pressures.

when the human population bubble eventually bursts, that will be another matter all over again. after that, when the earth is renewing itself and able to, then of course wild meat will be more abundant, but as i've explained earlier, greatly inconvenient.

butchering IS hard work. how much of it you are willing to do yourself, will THEN determine how much of it you get to eat.

i am of course, refering to a much longer view then many here seem to be considering.

it has already gotten more expensive in relation to other food items for precisely the reasons sited, just in this past few years, if you want to look at the short term.

short term phenomina tend to be somewhat localized as well, and i'm only able to witness them in the u.s. and in the part of the u.s. where i live. though that also seems to be the predominance of perspectives expressed in the last few posts as well.
