A second post points to it being for research. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=A...s_sm=122&ie=UTF-8#q=Agroscope+Cannulated+cow+ http://www.agroscope.admin.ch/aktuell/index.html?lang=en Trust me, that one isn't the worst e.g I found. There just seems no reason for it at all
When I did the vegetarian diet, that was one difficult thing about it. Most if not all restaurants and food vendors only consider the omnivores and don't think about the vegetarians or vegans.
T That's not really what I was saying. I never said meat eaters only eat meat. I've been around enough meat eaters though and when I've offered them vegetables they've never heard of or a soy product, they have no idea what it is, say something to the effect of "ew", and decline. Vegetarian debates are always useless. I'm not trying to convert anyone but it seems I have always gotten shit from meat eaters for eating ethically. Meat eaters will nit pick at anything I say and try to bring me and my diet down.
There are usually at least a couple of vegetarian options at restaurants. (Of course i'd like to see a lot more). If there doesn't seem to be a lot of options, don't you know how to say no meat, or no cheese, orr substitute the meat with beans? It's pretty simple. And places like denny's will make any of their burgers with a veggie patty burger..
The same can be said for other diets as well, including non-vegetarians who follow what is being called a "paleo" lifestyle. It's hard to find a restaurant that serves grass-fed beef, much less low carb selections and things not fried in nasty vegetable oils.
I saw it in an item on tv a few years ago already and got into an argument with my dad when I uttered my disgust (and I'm not really disgusted easily) and he said if it's for food research he thought it is ok...
Is that a phrase you coined yourself? I am assuming it's someone who eats only free-range eggs and meat. That's what I do, but I tend to call it simply a "paleo" diet, since a paleo diets takes into account other things as well, such as the elimination of sugar and grains from the diet.
I don't eat as much chicken as before because the protein to fat ratio is too high. But when I do eat chicken, obviously it's free-range, and I leave the skin on it for added fat. Our local supermarket chain recently started selling organic, free-range rotisserie chickens, so occasionally I will get one of those. These days I prefer to stick to the fattier meats, so I've been eating a lot of ribeye steaks and pork sausage. I tend to pass on the white meats like chicken and turkey.
Hahah... I agree. But at the same time I think most vegetarians are just passionate.... sometimes too passionate. I can't really say much because I am the same way when it comes to the diet I follow.
STOP Rainy!!! That is soooo embarrassing. You're going to ruin my Hipforums image. Ew, and I hate the picture. I looked terrible without a beard.
