i'm a vegetarian because i strongly disagree with the way animals are treated in farming facilities. at first, that was the only reason why i became a vegetarian. i remain a vegetarian today because i also feel its rather depressing to think of fellow creatures with hearts, brains, central nervous systems, and with purposes in life, to be bred in order to die.

its amazing human beings fight so vigoruously against inhumane treatment, fight for equality, and fight for the overall well-being of humanity, and yet support an industry which treats non-human species far worse than any human being has ever been treated.

And then upon discovering the terrible facts behind the meat industry, they turn a blind eye and disregard the facts because the brutal acts are brought upon animals.

or they start to be in denial. the facts cant be true because they go against their entire lifestyle, habits, beliefs. everything they knew about farming was a lie. so they choose to continue to believe in the lie.

and no, farming couldnt cause pollution! no way! they all know this because theyve never, ever, EVER done ANY research at all. they just know it cuz they contribute to factory farming...

hmmm. life is funny you know. everyones born to die. but no one should be born to be murdered.
