Well part of it too is that if you are being arrested don't run and don't try to fight with a cop it will just end badly. If you just chill it is less likely that you will have charges brought against you. I don't agree with cops beating people up at all.

I have been arrested the person that I was with ran and got caught. They let me go and send him to jail because he ran. If he had just stayed there with me they would have let him go to. Cops aren't really as bad as they are made out to be. If you don't act like an ass they can be ok.
