That fucking bastard. Anyone who would let that guy walk after seeing that video needs to be fired themselves. That's just unacceptable.

As far as cops go, there are good ones. There are probably more bad ones, on a scale from "slight control issues" to "murder waiting to happen", but there are good ones. Never lose sight of the fact that there are people who become police officers to help people, and who don't abuse their power. It's just too bad so many do. If people had any balls they'd do something about it.

 

the problem with working within the system is, that it's not YOU who changes the system, it's the SYSTEM that will eventually change you!
yes, there might be some good cops out there, but majority rules unfortunately.
society has employed and empowered these high school bullies to protect us, instead they use that power to become gun wielding tyrants who are set out to abuse rather than protect.
freedom is just a stone's throw away...i saw that somewhere. can't remember where.
people need to realise, dissent is not criminal. they can't silence us, as hard as they try.

Hey you have to look at todays society. Scooter Libby was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice, felonies, our president gave him a pass.

These kids were skating on an open sidewalk, if they were guilty of anything it was a misdemeanor. Think GW will commute their sentences, or the republican party will pay their attornies?

 

and how ridiculous did those idiots look for arresting a man for speaking in public? u can defend urself without violence. but if that doesn't work, sometimes taking the "law" into ur own hands is just. i would defend myself at a rally by any means necessary, whether it's "condoned" or not.
i think EVERYONE should carry a camera with video recording abilities around at all times. catch the bastards in the act and show it to the world!

It's us little people that can make the real difference. We have to stand up and say it's not right. We don't have the money, but we do have the votes if we don't sell them out. Don't sell out for a chump change for the republicans. Remember this is about more than renumeration. Don't let them buy you or sell out. Democrats aren't much better. No one can really promise you anything if you don't hold them accountable. And neither party wants to be held accountable.

This is about selling out our children to the interests of the expensive stores that don't want to acknowledge that children exist. Time to say bullshit! These kids weren't hurting anything that I could see. If the stores have evidence that they lost business, I for one would like to see their evidence.

they have skate parks. but since when did it become illegal to ride ur board along a sidewalk? it's a mode of transportation to some. i'd say better than those machines of pollution aka cars.
