I'm not necessarily pro abortion and i don't think that pregnancy is a disease it can be a very beautiful thing, but that is if you are ready to have a child

another reason why I really dislike Bush and why i think he should be taken out of office is because of his pushing of Christianity on the amerikan people. whatever happened to seperation of church and state? its because of Christianity that he is against gay marriage and abortion, which really pisses me off so much. hes not gay, and hes not a woman, so why the fuck should he get to decide their lives for them? talk about fascism.

 

I for one hate it when people use being raped an excuse to have an abortion. I'm not saying I'm against abortions.. but it shouldn't be how you got the baby that matters. The fact is that you have it. It's a living thing.. if you choose to get rid of it, fine - but don't say it's because of how it is made. Just say you don't want a fucking kid. I mean seriously, it's just not logical... it sounds like this:

Killing embryos is wrong... unless you were raped.. then for some reason it's not wrong to kill an embryo even though it has nothing to do with the embryo itself..

If you don't want a kid, get the damn abortion. If you weren't raped and you were pregnant, and you felt it would be morally wrong to kill the fetus - why would it be right if you were raped.. how would that justify killing it?

It's there. How it got there shouldn't matter.

 

noone can fucking control when they get raped, im not a female but its pretty harsh to say that because they got raped and got pregnant that its the females fault.

 

I didn't say that. I'm female... some would even go as far as a feminist. I'm not saying they shouldn't get an abortion. I just don't like it when people use it as an excuse to justify what they would normally think as being morally wrong.
If they were raped - get an abortion and don't say it's right if normally you believe it to be wrong... if you would normally believe it to be wrong, just say it still is, but that you felt it necessary.

now poeple reading this right now may think that i am crazy. mabye i am mabye i am not. that is for you to decied. i dont know bout you, but i am againest abortion. bush is againest abortion. kerry is for abortion. that deeply disturbes me. around or under 1000s soldiers in Iraq were killed in this war that lasted a a few months over a year. in his for years in offices( meaning bush) only 1000 or so poeple died becuase of him. is kerry was elected , over 10 times more living breathing , human-beings with a heart beat would die at kerrys hands. kerry is all into stem cell reshearch and cloneing and shit. what do we need that abillity for??? we should instead be putting that money to curing cancer or are-ther-i-tis ( no idea how to spell that one. ) over all abortion and shit is wrong. but kerry is to much ass to relize that. plus, i think that bush got us into this mess , and sure as hell shouldnt be dumping it onto kerry. BUSH needs to clean this mess up. he should be finishing what he started.

a) Grow up, and stop parroting everything your parents say until your testicles drop, and you can make decisions for yourself.

b) I really hope your parents' political views arn't this narrow minded and pathetic.

c) Women should be able to do what ever they please with their bodies. I do agree they should be emotionally, mentally, and financially secure before risking getting pregnant. But sex and exploration at younger ages IS part of our culture, it happens, as is lack of education, and/or the maturity to use protection.

Let me ask you this though, would you rather a child be thrown into a dumpster as a fully developed infant, or be terminated as a small mass of cells? Would you rather the child be brought into a home in which it can't be supported and cared for as a child should be?
I agree that adoption is the best course of action, but not all teenagers have access to this, due to strict family beliefs, which inflict fear, and that fear inflicts irrational choices. And there ARE accidents. I think abortion should always be the choice of the woman, it should not be governed, that is their choice. I just would hope they would use it wisely, and not as a secondary option of birth control after the fact.

 

Alright. My morals don't matter. I'm just saying what bugs me when people disregard their beliefs and make excuses for doing so.

And excuse me, but when did I say - or even hint - that I everyone has the same morals about everything?

I said, "IF" you believe it's wrong, why should you believe it's right just because someone else helped produce it?

This is not saying that I think it's wrong and that these people are evil. This is just saying i hate it when people denounce their own beliefs to get off free.. stick with your beliefs... know it's still wrong (IF you thought it was in the first place) and know that's it is not your fault if you were raped).

 

personally, i am against abortions..and i think if you make a choice to have sex you should deal with the concequenes (sorry i am a terrible speller), just cause a tear doesnt mean you should go kill a baby that never had a chance to live its life like we do. BUt, i am fully against bush..and if i was in america i would vote against him cause the whole war thing isnt going to be fixed by bush..he's not that smart. All he thinks about is oil..money..power...control..oil. He never thinks of an other human being, so i wouldnt vote for him.

 

Although I am not yet old enough to vote, if I could vote I certainly would not vote for Bush! I believe in abortion, what if the woman wasa raped or cant go through with her pregnancy for medical reasons or something? Stem cell research isto help those in need. Bush got us into this perdiciment, so how can we trust him in the future? that is all i have to say on that! VOT KERRY PEOPLE!!!!!!

I actually have recently recieved a little tidbit of info from word of mouth.

The information is that Denis Hopper, ultra-liberal, Easy Rider, Bad Guy from 'Speed' and 'Super Mario Brothers', supports George W. Bush.

Is this simply because he is too lazy to change his stance? Or does he have a legitimate reason?

and umm who the fuck cares who everyone else is voting for, why not vote for the person that you want in there, not what some celebrity thinks. that is why this thread is as dumb as they come. and i suggest some of you do some research here, because kerry is against abortion, he just won't overturn roe v wade. which is exactly the point. no matter what your religion or what you personally believe to be good or right, that should have no bearing on how you run the country. what might be good for you in your head or within your church or belief system might not be good for everyone. that is where bush has his head up his ass... ok that is not the only place.

So a friend of mine on another forum went to get tickets for the Bush rally just to see what his opinion is. Parked in the lot, went inside. He said that you have to provide your name, address and SS#. Nice. At least he doesn't have to take a loyalty oath. Anyway, he said he was waiting there, and this dude came up to him and asked "Is that your (domestic make of car) out in the lot?" He said that his car has a Kerry sticker. He said "yes." "I'm sorry sir, I will have to ask you to leave." So he left. Suppose he didn't want to make the evening news... Anyway, just a bit of info for all those who claim that an event like that is "open to the public." Speaking about bumper stickers, do you ever notice the types that have the Bush bumber stickers on their cars? Their either the stupidest looking people on the road with shitbox trucks with a gun rack or some stuffy rich asshole in a Mercedes. I always wonder what radio station they're listening to. I'm sure it's not the one I'm tuned into. Today I went to my grandmother's house and we saw two Bush bumper stickers. Both of those were on BMW's...one of those cars actually had "W IN 2004" on the plates. Bush's rallies are advertised as 'open to the public', but the Republican Gestapo is there to run off any "undesirables", which means anybody that can't PROVE that they're a rabid Bush supporter. There are similar stories circulating at most stops on the campaign trail. Bush is a divider, not a uniter.
If you don't agree with him, he doesn't want to see or hear you. Great democratic principle at work, don't you think?
