hey hey, I doooooont let my mates think for me, in fact me and him think like each other to almost a psychic extent.

I'm watching the film at the moment and i'm quite stoned its bringing up all these amazing questions in my head - I keep thinking, yeah it all makes sense but what reason do we have to question it because if you take the sum of all things ultimately they amount to nothing (or something where nothing has a reason). If one thing can be more significant than another then there would be no balance - but then is balance just a human construct? And why am I thinking about that when there is the immediate subject of my happiness to attend to, but how can happiness exist or be of any benefit if ultimeatley nothing is significant - so if nothing is significant then I should become a nihilist or a hedonist and do as I wish, but I cannot let go of the idea that we should always be kind, is that simply because I revel in humanity and know i couldn't enjoy its benefits without contributing my share towards it? Do I simply wish to be accepted by it? Why should I. Is it because If I don't honor the constructs of humanity I could be punished/thrown in jail or a mental institution or becoming incredibly destitute and therfore lose the freedom to think freely outside of humanity?? So do we have to make a compromise in order to more freely grasp existence, because if we don't honor the laws that entrap us, we could suffer consequences that are far more damaging than the benefits of complete freedom?? So is there a way to free oursleves of these bounds so there would no longer be consequences for acting entirely freely?? But that would just be impossible, therefore instaed should we look at the boundaries of reality as the canvas of lving - I mean an area in which we can paint, or in which life can manifest itself like a painting, because If we didn't have boundaries I mean like up and down, left right and everything in between, I couldn't be here typinng right now, there would just be nothing, and in that place there would be no experience??? But then to what extent should we honor laws and boundaries - to what extent should we consider the future in all of our actions, and to what extent should we simply act for now, despite whether it may destroy the now that occurs in the future?? It seems this is almost impossible to guage and is perhaps the choice of every individual - but what are the point of choices if our choices are simply the product of our own lives?? So then we say, ok maybe there shouldn;t be a point to everything, this is very human centred, this is what we feel compelled to do but it doesn't make sense..so if there is no point, then what should we be seeking in our thinking in reality - attempting to paint the picture of our own lives based on our choices - but then really is there any choice? So then it seems the thing ( the thing being the universe) simply does as it entirely pleases, but then for what reason does it work within this reality, why has it followed these fixed random paths, when there could have been any possibility, and where did the paths start and where di they end?? It is actually illogical to have fixed paths, therefore there must be paths based on the infinite number of possibilities therefore there must be an infinite number of universes existing at the same time as this one, but what does it mean to our own paths, and does every second that passes by in my life manifest into infinite possibilities based on the infinite amount of choices i could have made and therefore creating infinite numbers of me. Therefore am I just one me the me that has gone down the one path, threfore my memories are made up of all those events on the one fixed path, while there are other mes who woudln't essentially be me because they have been under the influence of entirely different circumstances, with their paths manifesting into infinite possibilites too?? Stoned, tired, must watxh the movie smoke more weed, why do i think, thinking is bad, these words cannot express my grasp of reality, therefore should I simply shutup and

 

I have a lot of friends that love crazy philisophical ideas, and i also have ones that think they get you no where and have essentially no point in life. (a waste of time). While these ideas obviously aren't going to get you promoted at wal-mart or your law firm, i don't think that takes any value or significance out of the idea. I think most people underestimate the power of a random idea and thought, not for society, but for yourself. Its liberating and expands your mind. thats my belief anyways...

 

I feel bad for bagging the film. I watched it twice on the weekened and it has really blown my mind, see above i guess.
