If not a murderer, at the very least a damned coward and a selfish bastard for abandoning that woman and leaving her for dead. He should not have been allowed to stay a senator at all. That was just wrong. He should have had to be forced to resign his position if not jailed for manslaughter (I think homicide is the US equivalent? Not sure). It was an absolute disgrace.
Fry dead Kennedy as much as you wish, he was not my Senator anyway. The problem with the suggestion that he has done what he even himslef claimed to is that it is implausible and contradicts other known facts of the incident.
In his new biography “True Compass” slated to be released on September 14th Ted Kennedy reveals many of his ups and downs over his years with special emphasis on that fateful night at the bridge on Chappaquiddick Hotwater
A suspended sentence (?) and probation, wow they really hit him with the bricks. It should have been manslaughter he was charged with. http://criminal.lawyers.com/DUI-DWI/Death-Due-to-DUI-DWI.html
I read it on a box of tea once,, Something like this,, "If we knew of the sufferings our enemy had endured throughout the course of his life, there would be no more war."
