So, I think the huge question is: Will Obama continue to enforce the federal marijuana laws? I'm hoping that now that he has won re-election, he will ease up and maybe show some leadership in getting it re-classified as something other than Schedule I.
Too many LEO jobs are at stake if marijuana doesn't remain on Schedule 1. The Feds want all these LEOs to be on call for civil disturbances, and if they lose their drug war money, they can't buy the latest crap to enrich the military industrial complex.
They should legelize to culvitate it cuz u hav to watch babylon dey legalizin it cuz dey are out of money (or so dey say) but more den likely dey'll put stuff n it to harm u (c wat the food dey treat does) but n some wayz its good they might b cuz ive been to jail and prison and someone who burns should to be n dere w murders, theives, rapists and the worse of the worse
It's legal to have an ounce, grow six plants. cultivation for buying and selling is legal on a commercial level with the proper license as of Dec 6
In Colorado and Washington, this is set in stone. There aren't any shops up yet (as I am aware) but yes. Cultivation is now legal with a license to do so
Here is an interesting NPR article (I actually haven't heard this one prior of today, but it summed up a lot of this confusion.. Particularly with Washingtons laws) So yes it is legal to have one ounce as we have agreed on. Where you and I had differing opinions Jo King, this should clear it up. It is legal to buy and sell. But NOT from person to person (which I'm not sure if that was our confusion) The catch is for a business, they still need to get licenses to cultivate and sell it on a commercial level, and that'll still take a couple of months or so. Maybe even a year? This is all new! I suggest either listening or reading this article, it's quite humorous with the new laws. For instance, it's legal to have an ounce and smoke it in your private property (home) but there is no where you can legally buy it yet.. I emphasize yet. That is part of the law, is the commercial cultivation of marijuana Edit: lol forgot the link http://www.npr.org/2012/12/06/166666267/washington-legalizes-pot-whats-changed Enjoy!
I know shame.. still excited by it though, and in just over two years time when I am 21 hopefully this will be set up well Funny thing with this law too, if you're between the ages of 18-21 and have a med card (medicinal marijuana) you're still legal.. I don't, but I think that's comical
The new law sounds like something interesting on the Horizon in the United States. Allright Washington and stepping out into the pot law.
