yeah i know what you mean. I think its because of the ego. In society(america, anyway. I dont know about other countries) we're taught from birth that we are separate individuals, egos trapped in a bag of skin. I think all of that distorts the feeling that we are all one. But thats just my opinion.

 

Its cool idea, but i don't think its so. I mean every living thing has their own personal brain, which makes the individual 1 thing and only one thing, but probably it becomes true after we are dead.

 

yes, but we all use the same electrons. We use the same energy that creatures have been using for billions and billions of years. And there are wholes in your skin, that connect you with the electrons that i am connected with. And we both sense the same vibrations. and we both think the same. We have the same language, and most likely have very similar views and opinions on similar things like, raping is bad, orgasms feel good, beds are for sleep exc.

i like the idea of the ego. maybe that makes me close minded, but i think it makes me feel significat to know that i am a separate individual. and maybe you are right, all this is a mass brainwash and we are all particles of one big spiritual organism. but i think both things are in perfect harmnony. just like there must be night so you can recognise the day and there must be evil so you can appriciate goodness, so first there must be an ego so you can eventually realise you are a part of this "big one" . but i would not try to break myself from my ego. this is a difficult subject and i can talk alot but probably all i am going to say is gonna be crap

 

Nah. I like your talking lol. I agree with you. You are aware that most things that people consider "opposites" are really jus different aspects of the same thing and that they rely on each other, that its black and white, and not black vs white. So yes, i agree that the separate ego could possibly be needed to show and appreciate being one. And i dont think people should try and kill their ego(which is impossible, cuz you cant kill your ego, though it has the most subtle ways of tricking you into believing its dead). They should embrace. That is the only way you could possibly get rid of it. Over come false consciousnesses through even more consciousness.

 

And how do you do that?

 

Ask why to everything. Ask why your doing what your doing. Search for the ultimate reasons you're doing something.
