We need our guns

I think if the U.S. deteriorates into some violent anarchy us hippies will ban together to live peacefully and far away from the violence as possible. It would be nescessary to keep weapons. I'd trust hippies not to go gun crazy, it would be a very very very reserved resource.

I'm personally getting really sick of people from pussy regions of the world talking about how banning guns in the US is a cure all for the worlds ills. It seems completely naive, unrealistic, and idealistic to me. Heres an idea - why don't you try living here first?

Also to the op, handguns have been banned in dc for quite some time now. Although it hasn't seemed to stop anyone from carrying. My stepdad used to work in southeast back when red light carjacking was big, and would drive in with a .44 sitting on his passenger seat.

I actually looked into the concealed carry permit for non-citizens, and it's possible, yet hard to get.

I live two hours from pittsburgh(and am orginally from there) I agree if someone comes in my house to hurt me and mine i will shoot him. I am a mixed race person married to a redneck(yes their is a joke somewhere in there) and he I both believe you mess w/me and mine their will be problems. My two sons(11,& 14)were jumped last night and assaulted the cops did nothing. And yes my first thought was vilolence is that right no, but htese boys threatened to kill my boys. If thsi happens in a small town their is no "safe" place anymore. I dont like vilolence but I'm tired of being scared for my boys all the time. just my 2 cents.
